What did you do to your Ram today???

I honestly just assumed my rears were halogen b/c the fronts were, that's why I bought the reverse bulbs (in error). After I pulled the rear light off and stood there scratching my head like a dummy, I went and pulled my build sheet....LED rears. My truck does have BSM and brake assist.

Got BigRed new shoes! Remove my 275/60r20 XL rated Nitto Ridge Grapplers and got Toyo Open Country RT Trail LT285/60r20 E rated. Could not be more happier getting back to an E rated tires.

Trying to find someone around Grands Rapids, that knows how to install a J pipe.

Console vault. Couldn't really decide which one to get with Lock'r Down being out of the game. Installed in about 14 seconds. Pleased with it for what it is, in my mind just a deterrent.

edited: couldn't get short video to work.

Replaced a 6 gang auxbeam with an 8 gang. Ran out of room and wanted to add the strobe option. The DD SS3 and 30" DD lightbar both in the bumper don't help me spot wildlife off to the sides so found a new set of LP6s cheap and a pillar mounted. Likely will add some wind noise but they are way more useful in that spot. (No these aren't used on public roads, they are used enroute or returning from SAR callouts on mountain roads with an abundance of Elk, Moose and open range cattle.

better be running relays with the auxbeam to prolong that pos's life especially running big lights like LP6.
i've replaced too many for customers due to auxbeam shorting out or burnt internally.

I left the relay on the BD harness for the LP6s just in case. Others don’t draw enough to worry.
good job.
and you'll be surprised with them auxbeams lol i've seen a pair of S2 equivalent of DD short out a panel

While I certainly understand avoiding cheep Chinese stuff, my 6 gang Auxbeam has been fine for 2 years with daily use.
good for you lol
just saying, i do this for a living. i've dealt with way too many and some of them are even dead on arrival.
but my point is, if sticking with the cheap chinese stuff is what you (and most of the forums) are doing, there are things that you can do to prolong the life of it.

Swapped out my factory ORG springs/struts plus BDS spacer for a 6" Lifted Rough Country M1 coilover. Also replaced my brake lines because one of the BDS lines had a bubble in it. Rides great! Very happy.

And here they are next to stock Rebel Bilsteins. I picked these up on Marketplace but ended up deciding to ditch the spacer.

Finally added factory bed lights and tailgate ajar warning on my ‘22 Rebel. The information on this forum is top notch!🍻
Which process did you do for the best lights? I keep considering the infotainment setup but i dont want to repin a connector….ive also considered tieing into the 7 pin but i pull a trailer often and id hate to F up something and cause a surge or problem.

I went with factory wire harnesses and bed lights instead of the infotainment system. I started out asking questions about Infotainment but then got pointed in a better direction. Everything you need to know is in this thread:
