What did you do to your Ram today???

I have the magnaflow and the bed step and mine works. I’ve heard of a couple of people who said there’s interfered some but mine does not really. It will bump into the exhaust if I let the step slam back in when I retract it. Doesn’t hit on it any other time.

your right it will clear a little.but stay away from the "Borla atak".the tips are to big and to long.but any other muffler will/may work.here's the exhaust tip on my (Atak).and all the others are not as big a round and as long

So I installed my visor lights and weren't really happy the way they sat(sat too low) so back to the old trusty dash light. Will have to get some new brackets for the visor lights as the attachment points aren't as flat as when I had them in my 2014 Outdoorsman.

Vvivid vinyl air tint smoke headlight tint. Did the rear cabin light, mirror turn signals and headlights. Very easy to work with, but I really have no basis for a comparison because this was my first experience w vinyl or tint. This color (smoke) barely affects light production and still lets you see those beautiful LEDs in the right light.

Check out CK Wraps on YouTube, he swears by this stuff and convinced me to use it. He has a video where he does an f-150 headlight and shows the negligible difference in light production between tinted and not.

Looks good, RAMayor. Does the tint come cut to the specific application, or do you have to cut it to fit?

Thanks.

Not much

But the wife’s car got some much needed attention.

Not bad for 81000 miles

I can't bear to reinstall dash anything, trying to figure out a stealth install behind the grill and under tailgate.

Well I have been doing yard work the past couple weeks. At one time I had between 2400-2800lbs of soil in the truck bed. The truck obviously squatted a lot but did extremely well. My rated payload is 1682 so I was about 1k over. I only had to haul this load 1.7 miles and was more worried about the stock tires than the truck. I have loaded the truck with varying weights from a couple hundred all the way up to the most recent load at almost 3k. I can really say that this thing hauls loads like a dream. I have loaded 700lbs in the bed and with 3.92 axle could maintain 80+ up a grade in 8th gear with power to accelerate.

So on Saturday i had the shop install Fuel Ripper 20x9 wheels w/ 305/55R20 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. On Sunday i took out all the chrome emblems and swapped them for black emblems, i bough them directly with Mopar cause the aftermarket ones looked crappy. Installed all black Aries AdvantEdge running boards crew cab length. Check out the pics.20190603_064016.jpg20190603_063942.jpg20190603_063854.jpg

Thanks man. I wasn't sure about the running boards until i installed them, they really look awesome. Today im getting the OEM flares and spats from Mopar, im still on the fence on wether to do a 2 tone black/billet silver combination or graphite/billet silver combo, leaning towards the graphite/billet silver. After that im getting the oem black exhaust tips.

UNLESS its different in UK, ALL 12" Uconnects come with "remote operation" ability. I had it in my 2016 Laramie BUT at that time i didn't have an Apple Watch so didn't really use that function... But NOW,...."whole 'nother story" : )

i mean the 30-60 second delay seems like a "long wait" IF ur just standing NEXT to it... But if ur not yet out and you're getting ready and you just use your watch instead of hunting for your phone or key fob to either "heat it up/cool it down", having watch ap is invaluable : )
Thanks, yes I had a quick check and it does have remote start, it looked to be part of Level 2 on the Rebel but its so long ago I ordered it. I couldn't remember as it wasn't something I was dead set on. The watch is a good tip, as you say will save digging round in my bag for the key and more likely that I'll use it plus I can keep count of my exercise again.

Just paid for it today, pickup week tomorrow :)

Nice. I might have to order this for my truck. Thanks.

Here are the links to what i ordered

That is such a good look. I have a few questions:

1. How is the ride on those tires compared to stock (ie smoothness, cornering, noise)?

2. What did you do to install the new emblems in the right place? I would be very worried they wouldn’t be level or even left to right if I did it.

3. What tonneau cover do you have and how do you like it?

hi Lize! just to be clear, (because a lot of us didn't realize (me until it was too late WHICH is one of main reasons i traded my 2019 for another 2019 : ) There is a HUGE distinction between remote start AND remote operation. "Remote start" is a level 2 equipment group feature from the key fob, but "remote operation" thru your Uconnect phone ap or watch requires your radio to be equipped with NAV, and i'm pretty sure all 12 inch's come equipped with Nav, so you should be golden : ) Good luck & congrats on ur truck!
