What did you do to your Ram today???

I was gonna say that’s a awful lot of tools for a hub replacement lol
Had to throw everything I had at it, most of that stuff is SAE that I tried to make work with metric.
I do have a good collection but just needed some specific sockets that I could not find.

This and an impact gun are your best friends on a job like that

Took a good 20 minutes to find a bit that fitted that torx screw lol.

Yeah, I learned the hard way about those torx bits and bought a set of Torx Plus bits.
Interesting that the caliper bolts are not reusable

I noticed that is also the case on my Z06 which I've reused a few times:oops:

Not just the caliber bolts, upper and lower ball joint and tie-rod and I believe the half shaft nuts also.

I have more 10mm sockets than Lowe’s and HD combined 🫤 Just never where I left it when I needed it.

My 10 mm sockets are all accounted for, by any chance you got a spare 8mm I could have?
Lost it in my 97` Expedition while replacing the radiator.

Now yall are just making up car parts.

What the hell is a half shaft???

Why would someone put half of something in my truck? And then charge me full price?
Well, one half of the shaft is on the passenger side and the other on the drivers side. If that makes sense...

Yeah, I saw those listed. Lots of single use bolts
Frigging nuts.
I must be old school, or no school...
Give me a torque number in pound feet or newtons, good with that.
Not a fan of "25 pound feet + 59 degrees of rotation" I can do it, but what if I am off by two degrees?

Just wondering.

I always have a hard time keeping 14mm sockets. But that's the most used size on my Dakota
