What did you do to your Ram today???

i got a new battery today. 2 years old DEAD. happened at home and got to the dealer for replacement. at least under warranty thankfully i keep a halo power charger/jumper in the truck. close to $300 battery at the dealer.

Installed a set of Go Rhino RB20 running boards and OEM tow hooks in the past week. At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked the RB20s but they’ve grown on me.

One thing, when I removed the long bolt on the passenger side to install the tow hook, water gushed out of the threaded hole. That can’t be good! Luckily, I don’t keep my vehicles too long.. hopefully it won’t rot out before I’m ready to upgrade!4C1B24DA-B2F5-4DFD-B39D-A5C2422B4FDE.jpeg797FD7BA-D466-4B43-8F95-A3FAB730DB70.jpeg

Had tires rotated.
Local shop wasn't bother by the cat skid plate covering some of the lift points and manage it. Great shop. Have been getting best prices and service for the last 6 years and 4 set of tires between all the family vehicles.
A member was refused thr service by a big tire chain shop due to the skid plate but is kind of understandable with big chains and their safety polocies.

Got rid of the awful nexen tires, replaced with wildpeaks. One week old and love it!

What’s the process?
you go here:

put in RAM, Ram, Uconnect5 click search for updates,

this page comes up and you jus follow the directions, but its basically, download the zip file, unzip it and put those files on a blank usb drive (its about 18-ish GB) - meaning these files are the only files on the drive and not in a folder.

put it in a usb port in your RAM and you'll get a pop-up asking to do the update. tap yes and it goes.

only thing that sux is you have to have the truck running the whole time and it takes like... a while... half hr maybe 40 mins mine took both times.

I have a lift at home and was not pleased with the layout of my cat skid plate. I’m not real thrilled about where my lift points changed to. They seem to me to be too far back. I might be giving up the skid plate unless I can figure out a way to modify it.

There are pictures in another thread where someone cut and bent the Skeerdycat skid plate to open up the area for the left pads.
