Nothing major, but I got these extension arms for my Course Motorsports Magsafe phone mounts. The vents are no longer blocked at all when a phone is on the mounts. They seem to work well, though I with they were not all plastic. We will see how they hold up. We are leaving tomorrow for a 1700 mile round trip to Texas.

Just got home from my trip to Gatlinburg TN. We went from London Ontario to Gatlinburg TN, then over to Nashville TN and back up to home. towed a friends car while driving. PXL_20230929_131821752.MP.jpg
While there, we swung by Tail of the Dragon and had an absolute blast on that road! If you can, I absolutely recommend you do it!

From there we went to Nashville and stayed there 2 nights. On Tuesday we went up to the National Corvette museum, what a place that it is! Was absolutely worth all the driving! Got home today, Ram had no problems and temps stayed nice and cool the entire trip, trans would shift pretty high sometimes but is what it is.

That all seems like a lot of trouble. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It works and charges just fine in the truck's built-in wireless charging pad. With wireless CarPlay, I don't really need to have the phone up where I can see/touch it while driving. And it doesn't block any vents. ;) :D

I've been up and down that road many times since my first visit in '96.

My trucks have always done okay on it, but my motorcycles are WAY better. :D

Not far from it. I love my area of NWGA and that area of Tennessee!

Awesome pic @Burns1200

Nice! I'm loading up now to head over to Suches this afternoon for a long weekend of riding in GA/NC/SC/TN....

I'm hoping to get back up that way next yr to Cooper's Creek for some trout fishing!

It’s crazy how had that roads gotten with idiots though. I had a gsxr crash In front of me trying to outrun me. And the same day a car crossed the yellow line and hit a biker in front of me a few weeks ago. And this was on a Wednesday. But I usually stay at what’s now called dragon city.

That's all good, but we don't all have the wireless charging feature (or want the lame 15W charging it provides), and I like my phone to be visible and easily accessible. Also, the install took all of 2 minutes, so not really "a lot of trouble". Do what works for you, this works for me. :D

Can you please point me to where you bought the adapters to enable (the factory neutered) mounting points to attach the bed extender to?

TIA

If the RamCharger provides 15W, I’d be impressed. I’d expect it to be 10W or less. Anybody know the specs?

The maximum power from the USB-C ports is 18W, incidentally, so 15W isn’t so bad in comparison.

According to Google, the RAM charger is 15W, though I have not heard a lot of positive reviews about it. I use a USB hub plugged into the 115V plug to provide 65W charging for my Magsafe mounts. The USB ports would only allow one mount to charge at a time, the other simply would have NO power.

I have the Ramcharger (gotta admit, I like the name) and it seems to work ok for my S22. I like the factory integration, but wouldn't pay big bucks to get it after the fact.

That's pretty cool. Don't know that I'll need the ramps in this truck, but I have considered an extender. I really miss the one I had in my Nissan. It was attached to the rails and could slide all the way to the front of the bed.

I installed air springs to help with my RV making it sag a bit, will be trying in a couple weeks camping in Helen, GA from SouthWest FL
