Ok.. the Core 4x4 end link saga continues.
So the most recent iteration was the "town" level links with bushings in both ends but still grease-able... had all the correct hardware this time, yadda-yadda... buuuuut:
.
.
Links were too short. I can't win for loosing.
So i contacted them... this time it took a week for a response and I thought i might be wearing out the hospitality... but when they got back to me they said they were making some much needed "staffing changes"
.
Evidently this type of thing has been happening a bit too much lately... and he told me the links that got sent to me this time were for a Jeep Gladiator... which are in fact, shorter. (the blue painter's tape was just marking it for quick visibility since the bar end is a 12mm sleeve and the frame end is a 10mm sleeve.)
In my last email to them i had even offered to start paying for some of the shipping since we've gone back and forth like 4x now on these links. They were of course awesome and said it wouldn't be right to charge me for anything and took full responsibility for the errors.
SO my correct length links are in powder coating rn and i should have those next week along with a label to send the short ones back.
This will be the 4th time I've taken my stock end links off the truck for this one upgrade,
and I'll tell you what, if these guys weren't so responsive AND accountable for their product I'd have given up the 2nd time. So again, with this upgrade, between the control arms, pan-hard bar and these links, the benefit for me did not outweigh the cost since it largely turned out to only be aesthetic. But i have nothing but good things to say about Core and the way they stand behind their product and customer service.
Final (hopefully) update to come next week sometime...
