Got the glove box lid cover from seller Jogon on eBay in forged carbon fiber. Fit is perfect was worried the TRX and bighorn badges were different sizes.

There aren't enough USB plugs already?

LOL! I was afraid someone might think that. Freakin' acronym collisions.
It wasn’t until this message that I finally figure out SIL = son in law. I see all these people reaching the conclusion it’s not sister in law, but my dumber a** still wondered, okay, if it’s not that, what the heck is it?

Now what were we talking about? Oh yeah, Hellwig.

This sucks. I've had my Hellwig for a week, but I can't install it because I'm still recovering from spine surgery, and I'm not allowed lift (or push or pull) more than 10 lbs. for another 3 MONTHS! I may have to recruit my SIL.
Just make sure you get a vid. You'll get a ton of hits with a title like "My sister-in-law working on my rear end... iykwim" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

... for the record i know you probly mean son-in-law but this was funnier.

Ok.. the Core 4x4 end link saga continues.

So the most recent iteration was the "town" level links with bushings in both ends but still grease-able... had all the correct hardware this time, yadda-yadda... buuuuut:
IMG_4005.JPG. IMG_4006.JPG. IMG_4007.JPG

Links were too short. I can't win for loosing. 😅

So i contacted them... this time it took a week for a response and I thought i might be wearing out the hospitality... but when they got back to me they said they were making some much needed "staffing changes" 😲.

Evidently this type of thing has been happening a bit too much lately... and he told me the links that got sent to me this time were for a Jeep Gladiator... which are in fact, shorter. (the blue painter's tape was just marking it for quick visibility since the bar end is a 12mm sleeve and the frame end is a 10mm sleeve.)

In my last email to them i had even offered to start paying for some of the shipping since we've gone back and forth like 4x now on these links. They were of course awesome and said it wouldn't be right to charge me for anything and took full responsibility for the errors.

SO my correct length links are in powder coating rn and i should have those next week along with a label to send the short ones back.

This will be the 4th time I've taken my stock end links off the truck for this one upgrade, 😫 and I'll tell you what, if these guys weren't so responsive AND accountable for their product I'd have given up the 2nd time. So again, with this upgrade, between the control arms, pan-hard bar and these links, the benefit for me did not outweigh the cost since it largely turned out to only be aesthetic. But i have nothing but good things to say about Core and the way they stand behind their product and customer service.

Final (hopefully) update to come next week sometime...

I got the black ones. Past experience with ES bushings, the red ones start squeaking sooner
Yeah, I read your comments about them in the other thread. I looked up the black ones on amazon, but they were a few days later for shipping. I wanted them sooner, so I went for the red, which were available sooner. We'll see what happens. They're definitely more dense than the OEM bushings. I haven't taken it for a test drive and I'm not expecting to notice much difference. It was just a cheap quick project.

I thought about the suspension maxx links, but I can't justify the cost yet with the low miles I drive. Maybe after a few more beers, I'll hit the buy now button.

🍺😋

It was a few beers and a bourbon, well maybe a few bourbons, back in February that I bought a Taurus g2c .40 S&W while camping at Lake Theodore Roosevelt while my wife was celebrating her birthday in Komiefornia.

I have to be careful, my better half just saw what I spent on my borla atak. She asked what I spent so much money on, after looking at recent bank statements. I said an upgraded exhaust. She asked what it did. Hesitantly, I said, it sounds better. Then it was just silence. 😶

At least I already have my ccp and a few pieces.
