Installed the Mopar Chrome deflector today. Once its installed it looks good and it sits securely on the hood. A couple points about the install. It has 6 clips that are secured to the underside of the hood. 4 of them go into the holes where the scrivets are removed from the existing weather strip with the 2 most outer ones merely pushed onto the hood edge over top of the plastic tape. When you try to push the plastic screw plugs into the holes, they are so close to the edge of the metal clip you have to push them in at an angle and they tend to want to pop out. You are screwed if you lose one because they don't provide any extra hardware. If i were them i would toss in a few extra's. Its also key to align the deflector before putting the two outer clips on. All in all I'm pleased with it and would buy it again. Just be careful when you do it yourself!

Thanks for the write up, Silver64. I’ve ordered the matte black Mopar deflector for my Billet Silver. Post a pic of yours on the truck when you get a chance. I decided I like the lines and contour of the OEM deflector better than the after market deflectors.

Lowered the rear 2", added 22x10(+25 offset) with 305/45 all season tires with 1/4". These wheels are like the 22" sport wheels but black instead of charcoal.

Sooo I crashed it today :( Was pulling into a parking spot in a tight lot and this lady was going the wrong way down the aisle. No biggie I scoot over and wait for her to pass. As I was pulling into the spot the person in the previous spot pulls out without looking. I swing wide to avoid getting hit and swiped this poor lady's rear bumper.

3 photos of the damage to her car, 2 of the damage to the truck (one after cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol)

If you want more info on the OEM deflector.

Oh damn. Looks like you could buff that out but still never fun. Glad it wasn’t serious.

Magnaflow 18", part number #14264 welded in. Also, be sure to have the weep holes welded in the resonators, or it will sound terrible like an exhaust leak standing behind it. Sounds great now!

Out my new wheels and tires on Saturday. They rubbed a little where the splash guard attaches but i cut out a small piece of the wheelwell liner. I'm leveling it next week.

Well, received my Blackout Rear LED (lane assists) tail lights last Friday. Ready to install them and opened the packaging to find that they were damaged in transit. Currently working with the shipping company to submit my claim. Bummed because I was ready!!
