What did you do to your Ram today???

I'm off today and figured I'd go for a ride in the country to a cheeseburger place I haven't been in a few years. I reset the trip mileage and off I went. Mostly 35-40 mph roads a few small hills mostly flat. I got 22 mpg average on the speedo gauge, on a 5.7! Wow that was awesome. Truck liked the gentle walk to get me a snack.

Yeah dries similarly and can be peeled off, little more thin so u have to use more coats if u want to peel it off

The way these gas prices are behaving these days, I'm gonna assume that those are some killer cheeseburgers......complete with organic ketchup and non-gmo cheese. 👌

So my phone won't pair with the truck. Successfully sends a code to the phone, phone receives it, I acknowledge the prompt on the truck screen, then is churns for a while and says that it failed to connect. However, I've been blaming my phone : it's an 8 yr old Samsung Galaxy S5, which is kind of ancient in cell phone standards. I guess I should try my wife's iphone 13 and if that fails too then I'll know it's a problem with the truck's side of the connection.
jaja, nice. I also tend to keep my phones for long but the most I have gotten out of a phone is 5 years

How did you get a quad cab back country in granite crystal? They wouldn't let me order one in granite crystal unless I ordered a crew cab
I ordered it back in March and took delivery mid-June. Can't say as they simply took my order and went ahead with the build.

Finally got around to switching out my spare tire.

Since I'm running 20s now, I thought it better to have a 20" spare as well, instead of the stock 18.

Rim diameter doesn’t affect anything when switching tires around overall tire diameter does.

I know that.

The overall diameter of the stock 18 will be less than that of the 20. I'd prefer to be as balanced as I can be if I have to run a spare for a little.

Not if you have the same size tire on the 18 and 20. Sidewall thickness just changes.

Took the long weekend to try out some SuperWrap (vinyl plastidip equivalent).

Used gloss on the steering wheel ram, bighorn logo on glovebox, and front windshield deflector. Matte black on the accent tailgate piece.

Where did you get the CF look overlay for the steering wheel? Can't tell you how many times that silver strip blinds me when the sun hits it just right.

Not sure if this is same one he bought, but this is what I have. It does slightly interfer with the buttons in steering wheel. If zinoush left arrow on left side it sticks, and I lost the "click" feel or whatever you want to call it that you feel when you push the buttons

Added Mopar Running Boards today - one of the mounting nuts was bad, so the passenger side only uses 8 of the 9 mounting bolts properly. This was a definite need with two small children. Wheel liners, bed liner, and tonneau cover coming soon…
