Installed Mishimoto oil catch tank for 5.7 - part # MMBCC-RAM-19PBE
Took over an hour for my first time but now that I know how I could do it in less than 30 minutes.
Overall it’s a nice quality kit. My only criticism is the hose that goes to the back of the engine is long and unsupported so it seemed very floppy. I decided to reuse the hard plastic tube by flipping around so that the end that attached to the front of the engine is attached to the back. It still mounts into the original retaining clip so it's properly supported. I cut off about a foot of hose. All floppiness gone and looks very OEM. Turned out great in my opinion.

That kit would look better if you didn't have to route hoses all across the engine bay. Better options out there for catch cans that mount in better locations for less hose routing. And cheaper than paying for the mishimoto name. That kit would look cleaner with Oeticker Stepless clamps instead of the worm gear clamps.
Looks great, where'd you get the tint?Tinted the 3rd brake light and mirror lights. I guess I’ll have to order the turn signal tint now.View attachment 132593

Possibly but I detest that style of clamp. In this application it would purely for looks. That kit would look cleaner with Oeticker Stepless clamps instead of the worm gear clamps.
I looked at the options for mounting locations and prefer Mishimoto’s setup. Reusing the OEM hard plastic breather tube really reduces the hose routing length but even without it I’d still choose the Mishimoto. That kit would look better if you didn't have to route hoses all across the engine bay. Got mine from luxeautoconcepts.net but from what I understand now, is that the overlay guy is a member of this group.Looks great, where'd you get the tint?
Which light bar are you going with? I have an 30" Diode Dynamics in Amber I think I may install on my truck using our brackets for the 5th Gen Ram 1500.Yesterday under supervision to make sure i didn't mess up. Replace lower grill ahead of installing a hidden light bar once it arrives some time next week.

So I decided the worm gear clamps looked a bit too aftermarket. Picked up some 7/8" (20mm) spring style clamps for .45 cents each. Looks much better.Installed Mishimoto oil catch tank for 5.7 - part # MMBCC-RAM-19PBE
