What did you do to your Ram today???

I ordered the SX version so it rotates. Got a hose anyway just to help me direct the flow. Thought about the collapsible oil bag from valvomax, but decided against it.

Any drain valve combo you buy is better than the sh** show that occurs when you pull the OEM oil pan plug. Don't even get me started on the filter location 🤦

Yeah I think I'm going to try the gallon bag technique this time around.

I have a Fumoto valve on my 60 gal air compressor. Constantly has a little leakage not an issue in my situation since I run a hose into a gallon bucket. Not sure if the ones for our trucks are different, but sure look the same. And to be fair I haven't troubleshot the issue or called them since not a big deal on my compressor ... but on my truck......

FWIW - I've got fumoto valves on my Mazda 3, Ram, and my Wife's Pacifica. I'd say across the three I've covered 100,000 miles+ with them installed. No issues with oil leaks.

I've tried this method twice now and had success the first time but for some reason not so much success the second time. Probably operator error 😝.

Wanted to post a clip of the sound my truck has randomly been making sometimes at lower speeds. Is posting it to YouTube unlisted then linking it the only way?

Same...I drive pretty aggressively but my wife is the speed demon. I don't like being a passenger when she drives, mainly because of her plethora of accidents she had in the past 🤦
I'm the same with my father in law, I mean I drive fast all the time but at least I pay attention to what's around me, he likes to gawk and point out attractions and whatnot while driving fast in a 2500 king cab longbox with a big a$$ camper swinging out back. I refuse to sit in front seat anymore wife can sit there, I'll enjoy the ride from the backseat.

Yes

Installed bed lighting LED Strips and ran the power to the trailer brakes. Love it so far

Swapped out the lower grille and installed a 22” light bar in the front bumper of my ‘19 1500 Laramie Sport.

This preexisting bolt behind the washer fluid reservoir makes for a perfect relay mounting location.

For 12v power to the switch, I used a fuse tap on fuse F35 (Mod Inverter / Mtr Sunshade Sunroof / Mtr Dual Sunroof) in the interior power distribution box. I had already used a fuse tap on F66 (Run - Accessory Feed) for my radar detector, but F35 is also ignition switched.

Highs, lows, fogs (thanks AlfaOBD), light bar

The finished look is very clean and discreet, which is exactly what I was looking for. The light bar and wiring harness is actually recycled from my previous RAM ('13 1500). I had the light bar mounted to a Ranch Hand grill guard for over 5 years with zero issues.

(video of noise) Over the last few days, my truck will make some kind of gargling sound for a few seconds when its at a lower speed until I press the gas pedal then it goes away. Kinda hard to hear in the video, but if you listen closely you will notice it

Added an OEM trailer brake controller and added the software for it to the BCM. Had a bit of a panic attack when the 12”Uconnect took forever to reboot and come back to life but after that it was all good to go

You installed the software yourself? Do you mind me asking what you paid. I'm regretting not adding the Trailer Brake Controller when I ordered my 21 Rebel last year.

Shot in the dark here is that MDS? I don’t really remember what mine sounded like when my truck was stock but I think it was something like that, would make sense for it to go away when you hit the gas. What about the air filter? Have you opened that up to see if there’s any leaves rattling around in there?

Day 2 of my Paragoptics retrofit kit install. Lots of wire runs. Good news is I only rage quit twice during the install yesterday!

I’m about 10 hours deep into this project. Lot’s of detailed work but I think the results will be well worth it!

I just had them installed last week,

they were pretty straight forward, I think maybe you got the retrofit kit.

Dashcam Sunday. Installed today. Forgot to get the sd card. So haven’t been able to test it. But looks to be very good quality. Rexing V1P 4k Dashcam front and rear kit.

Order the same dash cam. Delivery tomorrow. If earlier enough. I’ll install it too. How you like it so far?
Works great. Have an older model in my wife's car for about a year now. Install was easier in the truck. Lots of people run the back camera by going down and along the floor but I run up and through the headliner. Just make sure your cable is behind the rolled up curtain airbag.

Share with us the footage quality,
I’m very intrested in a dashcam (front & rear)
Here are some samples from today. Make sure you are viewing in 1080p otherwise the quality is garbage. Also keep in mind the front camera is actually 4k, not 1080p like on YouTube so it's better.
