I am hoping a mopar version can be designed so I do not have to buy an after market bed brace prior to install of a tonneau cover. The retrax covers are definetly a quality product and if mopar does not have an OEM install within 6 months or so I will likely go with the Retrax. The Retrax MX Pro (# 80244) and the Retrax # 60244 work very well w/ the MFT!
What is the a/c hack??1) a/c hack
2) ceramic window tint
3) fumoto oil valve
4) bedliner
5) tonneau cover
Simply put, it's a valve added to the coolant line that goes to the heater core. This will let you slow or stop hot coolant entering the heater box and helps lower the AC tempWhat is the a/c hack??
Some members have applied a clamp to a warm water hose to to help the evaporation process. What is the a/c hack??
**Edit - “2. ReadyLift 3.5” SST Lift kit plus 35” tires”Must have:
- Bilstein ride height adjustable front shocks
- ReadyLift 3.5” SST Lift kit
- Dark window tint (must in South Texas)
- Full exterior/interior LED bulb replacement
- Vitesse Throttle Controller
Honorable mentions:
- Borla S-Type Cat-back Exhaust (should probably be on must have, that sound at startup never gets old)
- Hellwig Sway bar (currently on order but based on all posts this will be either must have or honorable mention)
So now that I have had the truck for a few months the list has changed to this1. Ram Airflow ( complete)
2. Tonneau cover
3. Mopar or Carli lift kit
4. Ceramic paint protection coating
5. New tires all season ( I have winter Nokian studded )
The tonneau cover likely the last thing I do as I have the multi function tailgate and I will wait likely for the Mopar version .. hopefully in a year they figure it out.. the stock wheels really are not good so I’ll be looking next spring for a good set of all weather tires.. Merry Christmas everyone !!
I want to get a rolling or trifold cover soon. I am considering this one.Ceramic tint
Tonneau cover
Wireless carplay
Center console divider
Baskets for rear floor to hold groceries, etc.
