I have a 2017 RAM 1500 4WD with 85k miles. I have tried so many things to fix this issue. The vibrations almost seems harmonic to road conditions? I have noticed a few threads with others having the same or similar issues. Doesn't seem like any one issue has solved the problem. New Tires didn't fix the problem. Tire Rotation doesn't change where the vibration comes from. Mainly feel it in the seat. @RamCares .

It would made sense to just join one of the already open topics already in progress, instead of starting the topic over.

I would start with a DS forum. Next what is the frequency of the vibration?

At 85K your shocks are probably worn out and aren't absorbing harmonics or vibrations like they used to. The source of the actual vibration though is probably your tires.

My Vibration was caused by the WildPeak AT3 tires. (50K miles) Alignment was only out 0.2º toe in. Vibration went away with new Tires.

Hi there,

We are sorry to hear about this. Have you reached out to your local Ram dealer at this point for diagnosis? If not, we do recommend getting an appointment in place for further assistance. If you get one in place, feel free to send us a private message for additional support.

Hi there. Did you ever get to the root cause of your vibration. I have had new tires and rims and balances and road force balances and balances again. Can't figure this one out. Vibration at 60 mph and more. Badly.

I use to work as a automotive technician before going to the airlines working on aircraft. I loved changing tires the best because I tried to be fast like nascar. I did everything brakes, alignments, engine changes, you name it; sadly some technicians don't know how to balance tires correctly. They can be balanced static or dynamic, you can even go further and balance them under 25 grams even though the machine shows 00. Because in the special menu it shows it is out of balance by 20 or 12 grams. I would go in the coats balancer machine and try to get a true 00, this was 20 years ago....but once tires are verified and since you feel it in your seat with
(brakes not applied)....here is your fix I bet you!!!

Any changes on the truck before the vibration (ie) lift kit, or any maintenance done at the dealer and now you have a vibration!! I suspect BAD U JOINTS!
