Under Seat Storage 2021 Limited. Locking handle wrong?

This makes no sense. I can flip it up and down but the handle only pulls out about an inch. Did they install it incorrectly? Can you all share pics?

That's what secures the underseat storage in place when stowed. Flip up the storage box, slip the handle through the opening, turn the handle 90 degrees to secure it in place. Or something like that. I haven't stowed the underseat storage since I bought my first 5th gen 1500, so the sequence might not be quite right LOL. But that's what that handle is for.

I wondered why that was there on my TRX. So I have a question: If it sticks through the bottom-panel when it's folded up, then what is the slot in the front-panel for?

It sticks through both when folded and stowed.

Gotcha. Guess I'll never see that in action. One of the very first things I did after delivery was cram all my gear into every nook and cranny I could find.

Thank all! So it’s the stowaway feature for a-fold. It would make you loose so space so better leaving it flat. Thanks!
