I found this forum and topic just because of this issue!
I’m from Brazil and here the new Jeep Compass 2022 has the Uconnect 5, this features (Weather, Gas Prices, Traffic) used to work intermittently, but in almost two weeks, it doesn’t work anymore.
From what I can gather all this info are being provided by TomTom but it’s a issue with uconnect server! I tried everything you can imagine but no luck.
And although my dealer updated my unit to a new software version, here we are not even close to getting the software versions you are receiving, but apparently it’s not related to that, because even with you guys with newer versions, this features are not working.
At first I thought that the car was not online or with bad reception, but Alexa works fine and plays music very well all using the car connection, so it’s just this connected services from navigation that are not working.
In the photos attached I show a test I do to see if the car is connected to the navigation service, if you start a navigation, if you are not connected a little car with a X sign will appear, showing that it don’t have a connection.
Well at least the operators you are talking to are aware of other people complaining.
Here I contacted the Jeep connected services and they didn’t solved the issue.
From what I searched, this issue occurs in all Uconnect 5 units, I saw people complaining in the Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler forums.
Here in Brazil this system debuted in the Jeep Compass 2022, so there isn’t a lot of people with the car to see this issue, but in a Facebook group of owners who does have the car they also experience the problem!
I’ll be watching this post, hopefully you guys can help solve this issue!
