Good day to all, today I was trying to program a key on my 2021 Ram 2500 with Alfaobd got my bypass cable, obdmx +.
Dodge / Ram
Ram 2500 (DJ/DR)
Radio Frequency Hub (RFH)
Radio Frequency Hub My2013 + PowerNet

Connect

Select Procedure to Start

Read Pin (Start)

The problem is that it tells me that it is not supported 5 pin digits.

If I go to a dealer and get my 5 Digits can i program the Key.

If someone know when Alfa obd will update to get the 5 digits.

Thank you
You can no longer program your own key fobs

I have never tried with Alpha, if you have the current pin code could you still do it?
Not with alfaObd, you need specialized equipment with correct software for the newer Mopar vehicles.

Hello Dear

I am facing the same issue n my 2021 Dodge Charger.
I get the 4 PIN by alfaOBD but when I need to program the new key fob, it's asking me for 5 PIN !
Had you fixed the issue?

I have a fleet of Ram Promaster vans at work ranging from 2016 to 2021/22 that uses the laser cut flip key fobs. We use a mobile locksmith that spent a ton of money to buy the licensing and equipment needed to make the laser cut keys and to program the fobs. I believe he charges us like $250 per fob to make the key and program. It can be done without the dealer but it's very expensive
