Trucks With Issues: Ordered From Factory or Bought Off The Lot

This thread is simply for info gathering a quick stat.

Please state whether your vehicle was a special order or bought off dealer lot. Please have build date as well. Please also say if your car has any *major* problems. Briefly list any issues. Current mileage may help along with Trim.

I recognize this thread is ripe for many mini conversations within, but I request it just be for the data.

I am a pattern oriented guy, some of you others are as well I am sure.

One more thing... please try to have abput 1000 or more before post unless its a significant issue.

Please use similar formats. I will begin with an example format.

- Alignment issue (wobble/vibration), fixed.
- Front Brakes Squealing (new pads and calipers ordered.

I find this acceptable so far.

- Steering Clunk at 100 miles has since gone away. (cooler weather now. We will see if it comes back when it warms up.)
- Upper Glove Compartment light stays on when closed.
- Unconnect.
- No sound from speakers twice now. Only came back after disconnecting battery.
- Theme reverts back to default on instrument cluster after shutdown.
- Gas nozzle shuts of repeatedly if not oriented just right.

Warranty items are understandable (especially on new model).

Couple of U-connect issues that have gone away and the shake/wobble between 50-70 mph, which has gone away from time to time.

Bad backup camera (blue screen when wet or cold) affected 8.4 nav operation including radio cutout - after replacement, no issues to report sir! I too love my truck.

What is your driver side door defect? I have what looks like a chip in my passenger front door window.

Special order or off lot should not have any effect on issues. Build date would be more important survey, the earlier build dates= the more problems.
