Tow Mirror Swap

Arth, did you end up doing the swap for tow mirrors on your 23 yet? I’ve got a 24 Rebel gt and I’m looking to do the same. I am waiting for my alfaobd/scanner/ bypass cable in the mail and then I want to pull the trigger on
68446975aa/68446974aa . It’s a pricey trigger so I want to know it’ll work.

I did not. Price is slowing me down. I did this swap on my 21 and it worked fine so I am confident it'll work on my 23. I have been hunting on ebay for a good deal on one or both.

Life has slowed me down so this is on the back burner for me.

I have the tow mirror with all the bells and whistles (blind pot, power, heated, 360 etc). I don't mind their size but still adjusting with 2 mirrors specially the smaller concave one. Is there any option to change two mirror glass only and keep current housing of side mirror ?

I have the power folding standard mirrors with puddles, turn signal and heat. What part number is the equivalent tow mirror? Mine are all black FYI Or does anyone have a VIN off of a truck with power fold, heat, puddle, turn signal tow mirrors, so I can find them?

Alright, I swapped out the tow mirrors on my TRX with some standard mirrors today. Pretty easy swap. Like people on this thread have mentioned, everything works fine except the cameras are not aligned. I don't rely on the 360 camera most of the time, but I would like it to be aligned at some point. Has anyone made the adjustment on AlphaOBD and can pass on some knowledge to me? I'll order the stuff to do it, I don't want to make things worse though by just pushing buttons trying to get it to work.

I'm still trying to find the correct part numbers for the same swap. I have auto fold,360 camera, heated, puddle lights and blind spot. If your new mirrors have these features could you please provide the part numbers? Thanks. Maybe a picture?, although just a number would be huge!

The swap is completed and those monstrosities are off my truck! The install wasn't too bad and these were plug and play.

If someone here is interested in the tow pair, PM before I list them to the masses!

Good job! I didn't realize how massive those mirrors are till seeing side by side! No wonder I hate them. Although I don't have chrome would you be willing to share the part numbers and options you have? Maybe I could change or paint the chrome or at least be closer to finding the correct mirrors. Maybe they're just a number or letter different for chrome or black. Thanks!
