No thoughts yet as it’s in the mail and I don’t get the truck until Tuesday but will let you know. I went with the Vanish because of the height and the weather stripping in the from of the boxThoughts on it ? ..... to me it just sits perfect above the bed the locking system it great. I love it!!!

HiJust installed one yesterday. Had an MX4 on my other truck. I like the Armor Flex much better. I did have to adjust the back of the rails slightly by pushing up on the rails as I tightened the last clamp because the tailgate was hard to shut - the back of the cover was sitting too low because the rails were leaning down/inward too much. Maybe needs a shim. Otherwise the Line-X coating looks great and should be much more scratch & dent resistant, and I like how the cover doesn't lean against the cab in the upward position. Just seems better quality overall than BAK even though they're made by the same parent company.
Truck Alterations (Luke) is the cheapest. $780 OTD for an MX4 right now.
After having it for a bit, do you still like it? I found it's the better "bang for your buck" being that it's "only" $650.Went with the Rough Country hard tri-fold, very minimal on leakage.View attachment 56339View attachment 56340
The ultraflex seems to allow almost the entire bed to be used without being removed. The Gator allows about 80%, but is pretty easily removed from the bed with hand nuts. I love my Gator, but I don't use my entire bed very often so it's perfect for me. I guess it just depends on what you want and will use it for.I've been looking at both the Gator EFX hard cover tri-fold and the Undercover Ultraflex on Amazon. They both look great, but the Ultraflex is nearly $300 higher than the EFX. Not sure if there would be that much difference in the two...
I like it, but there are drawbacks. I have had to haul a few things and the panel closest to the rear window does not fold up. It's easy to remove, but I've seen some that fold up to the rear window. Today I added a weatherstrip at the end that meets up with the tailgate. The leakage is minimal, just tried to seal it more. I don't foresee myself doing anymore hauling, just in the process of moving, but I think it's a good deal.4After having it for a bit, do you still like it? I live in South Louisiana so i get pretty much the same weather. Just seeing how it does with the rain.
