TAZER DT for 2019 RAM 1500

Anyone running a tazer with 275/60/20’s? Specifically Toyo AT3’s? I can’t seem to find the exact number to be on for a perfect speedometer.
I would start with 33.0. This will get you close. Keep in mind that oem speedo's can be off 1-2 mph from the factory. Then fine tune yout diameter setting by comparing the speedo reading to a gps speedo reading in waze or similar app.

So my tazer has been off for a few days now and im definitely still having the issue. It seems like you are having some of the same issues as me. Did tazer recommend anything for you to try?

Mine is working just fine now days, I unmarried it and didn't use it for months, then put back the oem locked ECU, I wanted the light show at the desert one day connected it and it was flawless, a month after I did put back the HP tuner unlocked ECU and the car is working just fine with all the features, I just lose the horn sometimes and it's frustrating, I have to turn of the car then on again and it will work.

I don't usually use it but in some occasions you want to alert other cars or for any other emergency reason.
 
I've never heard of the horn being disabled because of the Tazer (I don't even see how that would be possible). There's a feature that disables the 3-honk when you close the door without the key fob inside, but that's a computer override (not a physical disabling of the horn or horn button on your steering wheel).
 
Yes I have had that a few times too! Is it a tazer glitch?
Glitches with a tazer are very common. Diminished braking, random bricking and shorting out the rf hub with security features off, horn issues, drl ect.
 
No problem here either.
18 months and 40,000 miles.
 
0 issues here also.
It's full of bugs on UC5, but nothing that damages my truck with proper use.
I have the UC5 on my 2022 truck so I hope they first smooth out all or most of the bugs before. On the 4th gen or UC4 it seems way better.
 
That's why I am scared to use it. It can work well for weeks and suddenly messes up your full truck.
Talking with someone earlier that had it in his trx and married then had IGLA installed but the installer wasn’t aware. It bricked it out of the blue. Got it back to running but now has no power steering and abs light is on (no IGLA has no coding for any of that and the installer has done numerous ones the same way and spot). Thinking it popped a fuse. IGLA is turned off and he can’t clear the codes so off to the dealership. Tazer works until it doesn’t.

Everything worked until IGLA was installed then issues. But let's not even think about blaming the IGLA or the installation. Most of the times the cause of the issue is the last work performed on the vehicle

Unfortunately that is not the case. Married tazer that has its own security is the issue. IGLA is off and not even in the equation. It also has no coding for the brakes, abs, steering ect…. I will give you one guess to what does though. He said he knelt down and his oem fob locked and unlocked his truck and then bricked.. again, IGLA has no coding for that either. He unmarried it and rebooted the system and now it runs 🤔 so no, not last work performed, garbage chinese option changer is. I like your enthusiasm though

If he didn't have any issues prior to IGLA install, then it's definitely a conflict with the IGLA causing the issue. Hence the last item installed is what started the issue. Sounds like he just needs to remove the Tazer if he wants to have IGLA.

Reading some posts on TRX forum, it seems you are either owner of, or one of the main people involved with IGLA, at least in the Mopar vehicle side. So your defense for the product makes sense. I still find it funny how you won't say the IGLA was part of the issue with this guy's incompatibly with the Tazer, and the only issue was the TazerDT itself. When he didn't have issues with it before the IGLA install. Not saying the IGLA was bad but there was definitely an issue using them both together. Especially if he had the security features of the TazerDT turned on. So in this case, the IGLA was the cause for the TazerDT "bricking" his truck.

And I did see a couple other threads on TRX forum where a owner started having issues immediately after the IGLA was installed. One required.the IGLA to be removed so dealer could even connect to the truck to diagnose it. Which ended up sounding like an install error since he said he had it reinstalled after he got truck back from dealer and hasn't had any further issues. And once the IGLA was removed, there was nothing wrong with the truck that the dealer could identify.

I am not an owner, I am an installer that uses his free time explaining all the “security” systems out and showing vulnerabilities. Like the ravelco bypass at the plug videos, compustar spts bypass video, tazer removal and relearning the throttle parameters ect. Tazer used to be a decent product until Joe started messing with settings he has no knowledge of. He ruined his whole market.

Tazer is not a security product. Maybe that's where the confusion rests...
The tazerdt is fine for what it does and I'm sure this lgabcdefg is fine at whatever it does too. When systems conflict it's the fault of both and the fault of neither at the same time. I don't think it's fair to fault a product that conflicts with another although it can be very frustrating sometimes. Whichever was installed first is the "good" one and the newer one is the one causing the problem (even if that's not really true)
