I know there are multiple vibration threads, but it is exhausting to read through them and it is hard to tell if there are any posted solutions. So I am going to the dealer tomorrow to let them look at it. I am going to request a 4 wheel balance with hopes. If they have a road force balance machine I would hope they would do that. I have less than 1000 miles on it.

Also the steering wheel is not centered. It is misaligned slightly to the left although the truck seems to ride true on a flat lateral surface and not pulling to any side even though the wheel is crooked. If I straighten out the ram head, it steers to the right. In other words it rides straight but the steering wheel is off center. I think you know what I mean. Is there something I should do about this, or just leave it alone?

The android auto is annoying but I would like to decide if I want to use it or not. Right now my galaxy S9+ doesnt do anything with android auto. I am technically able and have tried everything I can think of.

FYI they are giving me 2 new tires as they both failed the road force balance. They have to order them. They will be in early next week. They were both on the fronts. Now the bad ones are both on the rears until the new ones get put on. This is the cause of my vibration they are confident. The misaligned steering wheel was due to a slight toe alignment needed. All is good now with that. They want to look at the android auto issue next week.

@RamCares Got the two tires installed and road force balanced this morning at the dealership. Truck is now solid as a rock at all speeds. No vibration/shimmy of any kind all the way up to 80 mph. I didn't try any faster than that, but I will eventually lol. It sure didnt take very long to get up to 80 with that hemi! I am so happy with my truck so far. Only thing I wish I had was a better bumper step something like in the GMCs built into the lower side of the bumper. I am under 6 ft and it is a stretch for an old man like me to climb in the bed. I am considering something aftermarket.

Are you running 20 or 22" tires? I am glad you got it taken care of!

I am running the stock 20's. I am glad too. After reading about all the unsolved vibration issues on here, I was a bit worried. But for now it is very smooth and solid, as it should be. Lovin' it.

Have you tried using a Samsung cord to attach the phone to the truck, starting/unlocking your phone, starting Android Auto, THEN starting your truck?
That's the sequence that seems to work for me most often. :)

Got a MOPAR step last year. Works really well, and tucks away nicely. I’m 5’9” so I know what you’re saying!!

So I tried to connect like you said (with samsung cable), but all it does is cycle charging: charging/not charging/charging/not charging over and over (in about 1 second intervals) until I unplug it. So now it doesnt even charge much less do anything android auto related. It is intermittent when it does this also. For a while, weeks ago, all it did was just charge, now it does this cyclic thing. Frustrating.

It sounds like you have a hardware problem to me (headunit, cable, etc). I assume you have tried all 4 of the USB ports (2 USB-A's and the 2 USB-C's). Do they all act the same way? I also assume you've tried multiple cables? Please confirm.

Yes they all act the same way. My understanding is it is a USB hub under the covers. I have tried multiple cables. From known good non Samsung ones to a Samsung one that came with my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S9+. A few more data points: The first day I got my truck, it successfully added my phone in the projector list, I had AA on my phone and I saw the projection on the uConnect. For some reason I dont remember why, I removed it from the list. I was doing a lot of stuff that day with the truck and uConnect. Since then it has not let me add it back no way no how. Also my daughter who has the same phone model as me, plugged hers up, and it popped a window on the uConnect telling her to download AA on her device, her device guided her that way too, and her phone and AA works fine in the truck. It is still in the list in there. I have even tried removing hers from the list and then add mine, no dice. Hers re-added no problem. I also reset my phone to factory settings in pursuit of this, but it made no difference. It's like it has my mac address stored somewhere and is rejecting it or not allowing it for some reason. I have also tried the reset of settings in the head unit but that didnt help either. I would go to factory settings if I could on the head unit, but I am not going to disconnect my battery in pursuit of this YET.

Have you tried any other phones other than your daughters? Sounds like more of a problem with your phone, like the data signal line to its USB has failed. I would see if your phone will talk to a computer.

Update on the Android Auto:
Never giving up, I connected my phone to the USB-3 connector and my phone started giving me prompts about Android Auto. I went through the prompts and installed AA and it connected successfully and I started seeing it on the radio. However not all is well. Since then I have been connecting it on every trip and sometimes it will start AA and be on the screen and sometimes not. When it doesn't, it just charges. Or continually connects/disconnects/connects etc. until my phone says something about abnormal charging. Yesterday I connected on the way home from work, and it connected right away stayed up for a few minutes, disconnected and never came back on that trip. This morning I connected it BEFORE starting the vehicle and it connected and displayed the whole way to work, about 12 miles and 20 minutes.

So very intermittent, haven't found the golden egg yet. I may try a different cable although the one I am using is Samsung that came with my phone.

It's not the phone, the cable, or the phone's software. None of that is the problem.
It's the friggin head unit. Either UConnect hardware, software, or USB ports. I have been having the same issues for over a year now. I confirmed that it's not the phone by plugging a thumb drive with my iTunes playlist.

When it reads the thumb drive, all is well and both it and my iPhone works fine with CarPlay. As soon as my music stops working, I know that the unit is no longer seeing the thumb drive, and at the same time CarPlay stops working since none of the USB ports are operational anymore. It's intermittent and very random. They sometimes come back on their own, and other times don't work for a whole week.

I have an appt scheduled for early Nov to have this looked at. I will request that the panel with USB ports is replaced and go from there. Very frustrating.

Thank you for that response. I did not think there was anything wrong with my phone either. It works everywhere else every in the ram. I am so relucttant to let them touch this. Even to change it update the sw. What else will break that is now working. Please report back if you would if you learn anything of value.
