2019 Laramie 4x4 5'7 w/ 2500 miles on it, NON air suspension

I can't find much info on this, but I noticed about a week ago that the truck leans heavily to the driver side from the rear.

Tire - Fender spacing is 7.25" on the passenger rear and 6.25" on the driver rear. Front tire-fender spacing appears to be pretty close(within .25").

Can something on the rear coils be adjusted or is a trip to the dealer in the works? The closest dealer is 30 mins away so I hate going down there for this.. Having said that, I will be going down there as soon(I hope) as they get a replacement windshield in (manufacture defect in the windshield).

Nothing to adjust. I would be taking it to the dealer. An inch difference is way too much variance.
 
My truck has a similar problem. Was 1/4" low on the drivers side, and after my lift it is 3/4" lower than the passenger side. Less than 1/2 tank of fuel, so that has nothing to do with it.

I'm going to try and figure out spring info and see what options I have. It is really annoying once you notice it.

There are no adjustments that can be made, but I may have to find a small spring spacer for the drivers side, and may end up removing the rear lift.
 
Fuel level appears to have no bearing on the issue, I’ve got a quarter tank now, it is seemingly no different when full.
 
Is there any kind of vibration wobble in the seats or through the cabin floor? Even minor.

Could be a cracked or weak spring, maybe?

Because with that kind of variance, the balance should affect something while you drive... i would think.

Also, heres my dumb question ... are you sure your measuring this on level ground. I know that a car parked say, closer to a curb, will have a leaning look, and as the car or truck attempts to stay level, the wells vary.

Uneven tire pressures too, I believe would result in wheel well gap differences..
 
Truck seems to drive fine. Only vibration I feel is very faint and in the steering wheel and brake. I feel it when parked too.

I will say however that if I watch the driver side rear tire at highway speed it does look like it’s wobbling. But I don’t feel anything out of the ordinary in terms of vibration.

I noticed the lean when it was in my garage. It’s not the floor making it lean.
 
Any speed bumps in parking lots where u live?

If so, you could maybe find one that has an open end (i.e. where one tire can go over it, and the other side stays on flat pavement.)

With only rear tires, I would go over it, each one on their own and see if a. There is a noticable difference in how the rear end accepts it, and b. If there is any sound at all, even faint.

If the shock is bad I reckon youd have a bounce that recovers less quick. If its a cracked spring i suspect you may hear a creak of sorts.

Just an idea, just thinking of the trials I would try out.
 
Also, that wobbling you see could also be the result of a bad spring.... this is basically how:

As you know the springs are what sets the ride height all around the 4 corners. As you drive, the shocks are absorbing the bumps... as they both as a pair encounter any road imperfections, or even regular roads with tiny bumps you cant see or feel, the shock absorbs it, but the spring is not allowing the wheel to set and hold the weight of the car normally.

So, imagine a bad spring there, not acting like the other 3. Other 3 are working fine, and gliding your car, while the 4th one is limp... the wheel and tire hops a bit more on that corner, up and down, at a rapid rate while driving. Watching it along the side, such as through the side view mirror, looks like its unbalanced and wobbling left and right, when in fact its just not settling up and down properly with the weight of the car.

I hope that made sense.

I have same issue on drivers side about 1/4” lower
 
If you weigh 600lbs I believe the truck will lean to the side you are sitting on. Simple solution is to make sure your significant other is similar in weight and have them ride with you at all times. That should keep you evened out.
 
What’s the fix for this mine is 1/4 inch difference in the front and 1/2 inch difference in the rear?
 
Anyone get this fixed? If so was it a weak spring or what?
 
So, after installing my 2" spacers in the front I went to check my wheel well heights. I have the "typical" lean of about 3/4" low on the driver rear. Fronts are exactly level at 39.5", rear driver is 39.75", rear passenger at 40.5".

I've heard they installed a longer spring on the driver side to account for the lean. Is it possible I have either 2 of the same spring or they swapped the sides they were supposed to be installed on?

Only part number I could find on the springs was 68370565AB on the driver side. Tried looking it up and there are about 50 part numbers for "Rear Coil Spring, Left" https://www.moparoneonline.com/v-20...s/rear-suspension--rear-suspension-and-cradle

my 4th gen ram did this as well. my current ram also has the slight lean. to me it has to be like this for a reason since it's so common. curious if ford or chevy have this lean as well
