The torturous wait continues. After almost a month sitting in a storage yard in the Detroit area my truck finally got on a rail on 1/14 and made it to SC on 1/22. Day 11 and still sitting at Dixiana railhead. Oh the agony!

I feel bad for this low vins still in D. But this is a different level of hell.

Got my build sheet this morning. 34 weeks since order placed and ~25 weeks since MY22 production start.

Was originally told 12-16 weeks once MY22 production started.

Yeah, Stellantis has prioritization issues.

I will say though I'm excited that I was able to keep ALL of the original configuration packages!!

We have very similar builds and very close in order date. Hope the movement on your is an indication for me!!! I am the oldest Rebel on the list (3rd oldest overall).

7 months is not ok by any means. Yes, they're ignoring (or slowly getting to) the older orders while they primarily press ahead in the 260-269 ranges as of right now.

A bit of good news. Went ahead and got the buyers order from dealer today and dealer is sticking with the original negotiated price.

I had never heard of mark dodge before finding this forum so I don’t know how good the price is. Perhaps way better than I got. But I did get an out the door price for $2800 below MSRP. Plus free OEM replacement tires with free loaner vehicle as long as I use dealer for regular maintenance/oil change. 22 inch tires aren’t cheap, especially Pirelli’s…. that was an easy decision. I had been working with a different dealer and when sales manager heard that deal he told me take it and the next dodge he bought would be through McKinney as well.

That is pretty much how all of them go. Complete start to finish is typically less than 48 hrs.

You must have had a better experience at McKinney than we had when we were in powdersville area. I had 2 less than ideal incidents with them... Once in service over a covered warranty issue and another at sales about 1hr before close where no one seemed to want to talk when trying to get questions answered about a truck I was interested in... Everyone was just waiting to go home.

Ended up buying 2 different vehicles from lake Keowee CDJR, one from Piedmont CDJR, & One from Mark Dodge.

(Don't even bother with Big 'O CDJR if you want a good deal... I had the same ... "when sales manager heard that deal he told me take it" on the truck I got from Piedmont)

the way most vehicles are built is once it is schedule at D-1 paint and frame start at the same time in different parts of the plant or at annex. this gives the paint time to be baked and the frame paint to dry at some point all comes together.
