Just got home this morning with my new Rebel! 2000 mile round trip to Mark Dodge, traded in my 2017. What a beast! (Will post pics asap.)

It did throw a check engine light half way home. Brought it to my local dealer and it’s an air-fuel ratio imbalance (O2 sensors), so it’ll likely spend a few days at the dealer soon.

Other than that, couldn’t be happier. It’s super comfortable, has amazing new tech features, rides great and is incredibly quiet.

Mark Dodge (Aaron) honored my original quote and said he would have to submit paperwork to Stellantis to re-invoice, since the price went up >$3k since I ordered.

I had to choose either the $1000 cash or 0%/48-mo (chose the later).

In case anyone was curious,, I spoke with Otis at Mark Dodge about a challenger scatpack, and he did indeed blow me away with the pricing and he said they will deliver it to a local dealer for pickup, with minimal charge. Really wondering why I didn't look for this forum and order from Mark dodge to begin with. Lol

Anyone on here deal with Otis at Mark Dodge before?

For my zip code (Nashville area), I see 0% for 48 months for most models. Must take retail delivery by 2/28/22.

Call some detail/ceramic coaters in the area to get a quote. I suspect you'll get a better price because the dealer typically outsources that type of work and gets a cut. So you're paying for the "finder" fee for the dealer to get it done.

There's also a huge range of high quality vs low quality products, so do your research and look at some of the cars that the shop completed if you can to see if they do a quality job. Ceramic coat is a permanent bond, if it's done poorly, you'll have a hell of a time getting it polished off and redone.

100% agree - local reputable detailer might be a better option. I was going dealer route and looked into local. Glad I did. He is offering not only better price, better quality and lessons on proper washing once it's been coated. Sure might sound silly, how to wash your truck, but figure to get it right and they do it for a living. He will also do an annual checkup wash to make sure all is good.

Not sure why you say that. There have only been 366 of them ordered, and they've built 165 of them. Your order is only 2 weeks old, so you've got a fair amount of time before your order gets stale.

I'm just pessimistic, and just having fun with it. Yeah, this coming Saturday is 3 weeks. Honestly, I'm very thankful I get the opportunity to order new cars and trucks pretty frequently over the last 30 years. Even though I'm old as dirt now, I'm still that little kid, licking the window, at the candy store. That feeling never changes.

Man, you really know the order stats for these. Only 366 orders for a Longhorn? That uncommon?
