Reminds me of the old saying about a frog. You put a frog into boiling water, and he'll jump right out. But put him in lukewarm water and slowly increase it to boiling, and he'll just sit there until he dies.
Moving into California is a problem for new residents (sticker shock). But Californians exiting the state is also a problem (for those areas that receive the Californians). When it happens in mass droves, it destroys the local cost structure. I saw it happen in Austin during the tech boom in the late '90's. And it's now happening in Nashville. People are moving here, saying "houses are so cheap!" and driving the cost of real estate through the roof.
Same thing is happening to Idaho in the Boise Area.

Thanks Triple B and Eighty. I appreciate your work and enjoy reading the posts.

I remember seeing a post a few days ago similar to this. My dealership general manager received a message from his rep yesterday as to why my build has been sitting in D status for 5 months. This is his explanation:

“It was probably a list of items that WERE short in supply but today that is not the issue. The plant has to catch up in scheduling of SOLD orders. They have finished scheduling sold orders that were placed in June/July and are now working through August. Looks like this one may catch a late March production time frame.”

And with this useless information it is time for me to bail on this order. I will be towing my travel trailer down to Florida in early April and cannot afford to wait and see if the truck makes it here early enough to break it in properly before I have to leave.

I am working on getting a similar build off the lot from a dealer in New York. It is pretty close to the one I had on order, but it really sucks to settle for second best when I thought I would be safe ordering 6 months in advance!

Do the all weather mats come standard on the limited?
Kinda. They are not exactly like you may think but all weather still. I ordered these yesterday for mine on its way here. 149.99 off ebay. It's true all weather that are for the TRX. The regular ones don't have the red ram.

After waiting 5 months, my Rebel finally arrived yesterday! I didn't really talk much here but I'm always on and reading the wealth of knowledge everyone provides on here. Thank you all. And a HUGE thank you to Eighty and triple_b. You guys are amazing.
Nice looking truck

You are the man!

Only downfall is my truck has entered Storage prison now hahaha. Hopefully it's just waiting for shipping and not a bunch of fixes/errors (least they got caught tho)

Can anyone help me with a dealer code for Cassens? I cannot find it and I am pretty that is who the dealer uses? The dealer name is Keller Motors located in southeast Missouri.

Keller Motors in Perryville MO. Dealer:68336 But I dont believe Cassens delivers to them. I have tracked thousands of trucks via Cassens to 17 states around Michigan, but never seen any into MO

Of the 916 trucks I can find data on to MO, every single one hit the rail depot so I am almost positive yours will be the same and go via rail not truck.

just an FYI for those interested, The states that I have found valid Cassens delivery info on are

Connecticut
Delaware
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Vermont
Wisconsin

Anyone know the likelihood of getting an option added? I ordered 1/7 and got my VIN via email 1/18. I contacted my dealer on 1/15 to ask if I can add the Pano-sunroof...which was something I wanted and just totally missed on POC. The sales guy seems more concerned about whos fault it was that it was missed (which I told him its 100% on me), but he did say his manager emailed Chrysler. He didnt really give me much confidence that it can be added.

I asked today and they said they havent heard anything back yet. Really hoping it can be added!

Go here
Type in first word of dealer name only and then select FCA and it should bring it up!
