the poc has the order date.
the issue is just because you place an order with a sales person on the day you were in the dealer does not mean the sales person input it into the system on the same day.
this can be for several reasons
sales person not authorized to input
order has to be reviewed by a manager
dealer used up their allocations (no one knows if this is true or not)
when trying to input an option shows not available so dealer waits a few days to see if the option opens up

and who know what else

This happened to me. I wrote the deposit check on 11/16/21 but the POC shows the order was placed 11/30/21, and my check wasn't cashed until mid December. I suspect my dealer forgot to order it, as the first time I called to get a POC was 11/30/21, and it took them several hours to come up with one...

Not to be a negative nelly, but I think the POC "ship date" is actually the build date. Then depending on you options it may go to the body vendor for unknown days, then rail to port then boat to Hawaii......then port to dealer.....personally cannot see a end of Feb delivery. BUT I hope I'm wrong!!!

Least you are D1!!! Seems once someone goes D1, they atleast get built in a timely manner. Now getting stuck between BS and WS could be a thing.

Just got a call from my dealer. He told me the owner of the dealership just got off the phone with Ram and they can't build my Big Horn as ordered. They went through my order line by line and the only thing that they can't build is Blind Spot Monitoring and Cross Path Detection. Not sure why they couldn't tell me that two months ago. I actually liked that option on my old truck. It was quite useful while pulling a camper. Anyway, at least I have some answers and he told me they can get it on the assembly line pretty quick. Wait and see I guess.

Tracking trends BS to WS. I'd say it's pretty rare to get stuck waiting for WS over 5 days.

Majority of builds are between 0-5 days for BS to WS

Breakout of the first Column [0-5]

Days between BS to WS is trending down, so they are getting quicker!

Bet eighty can tell you how many Blind spot Big Horn were built in the last bunch of build sheets. Hard to believe that are not being built. Take that info back to your dealer
