Anyone order in july or after with a pano roof wanna share their window sticker so I can show my dealership. They insist no pano roofs are being built at all.
For me, what I'm seeing is it depends on what trim level you are ordering. If you are ordering one for a limited, or maybe even rebel, you have a better shot of getting it.

If you have a lower trim like me in the bighorn, pano roof and rambox will delay you and might not be available for new orders.

after 10 + months of waiting , I just received this email from my dealer.:

I have good news!! Even before we could talk with our rep your truck has went into D1 status with an estimated ship date of 2021-10-29.

I will keep an eye on it and as soon as it leaves the factory I will let you know.

Have a great weekend and we will talk soon.
Dude, after 10 months, I'm still going to shop around to see what other trucks you can fund. They better hook you up with some kind of deal for waiting that long.

Please don't pay anything g close to MSRP..and raise hell about how long it was.

do you happen to know how many they build in a model year?
No, I don't. The VINs for 2021 ran pretty high (up in the 900's), but I think they skipped some sequences. Based on rough numbers of ~6000/week, on 50-ish weeks a year, I'm thinking around 300,000. But that's just a guess.

Ordered 8/7/21, VIN issued same day, Build Sheet 10/12/21, and Window Sticker 10/14/21. Dealer is not being honest or has incorrect information.

I was out of town yesterday, so I'm still mining through yesterday's build sheets. But so far, I've found over 100 build sheets - from just yesterday - that have the panoramic sunroof.

Early July corresponds with about the 120 group. So anything with a VIN higher than 120,000 was issued in July or after. I'm currently seeing 3,953 build sheets with Pano sunroof (with VINs of 120,000 or higher).

Here are a few of the build sheets and window stickers from yesterday.

To add to what @Eighty has above, they have built 3854 trucks post 120XXX Vins with Panoramic roof, 1267 of those were this past week. That doesn't prove they aren't running out of pano roofs, but rather that they just haven't yet. Those 1267 built this week are spread among all series of trucks as can be seen below

*EDIT* Thought about it after and realized that the total number of trucks might be a useful metric as well to show how many of each were being built with Pano.

This could either indicate that very few Sports or Bighorns are ordered with the Pano, or as has been suggested above, that they are reserving what parts they do have on hand for the higher priced 1500's

In 2019, ram sold 633,694 trucks, and in 2020, 563,676 trucks. Those numbers include ALL Ram trucks- 1500 classic, 1500 5th gen, 2500/3500, and 3500-5500 cab and chassis.

Weekend update, and catching up from yesterday (I didn't post the chart). Showing the two members that @triple_B called out yesterday, plus several new additions (@steely2022, @Dcam2man, @Lord_Spillington, @vilanowoman, @Nuzmann, @RaminTX, @RamGram, @Cmousel). The VINs have shot past 200,000 now, meaning there are over 100,000 trucks on order (with almost 32,000 having been produced thus far).

View attachment 108200 Thanks for making us with VIN's of 102... feel more depressed! lol. Nice to know 98000 trucks after our vin !

Does anyone know what exactly is installed at the body vendor? Going on 4 1/2 weeks in JB status. Just trying to get an idea of what the hold up is.

problem with that is we do not know if the other plants are even working 5 days a week let alone 24/7 or close to 24/7 like shap.

Which would you like to know- how many trucks are built per year, or what hours each of the assembly plants are working?

Like bigdodge said, basically the bed utility group stuff, running boards, and maybe something like the cold air intake if you have a GT. If they're short on parts for any of those things, that's probably the holdup.

I've seen rebels with more options and a higher vin get a window sticker before me. I have no BUG no spray in bed liner (getting done at dealer) no CAI. Only thing would be the running boards.

They drive the trucks off the line to the storage area or where it needs to go (on the SHAP grounds). I doubt they would put a stock intake on just to replace it with the CAI. But thats just my .02 cents worth.
