the dealers know less than what goes on here in this forum....they havent given me an update ever since i started this process...they blame covid...shortage of parts etc etc...but then i see trucks with a 200 vin getting built and it makes me wonder what the f@ck is going on!!

Yeah I don’t think parts are the issue. I think it’s more of they are trying to spread the trucks out all over the planet. They want everyone to have something. They can’t have one dealer in just say Boston with all the trucks even though they placed their order first. All the truck Ls I order are in different parts of America. And also another reason I don’t think it’s parts because their are basically loaded GT so the prts are available but I think them being GTs helps them move a little faster just like TRX

i b*tched to my dealer about how people who ordered months after me were getting their trucks before for me . and he said he would talk to their rep. but before that happened mine moved to D1 and then was built. So raise a stink . mention that people that ordered way after you are getting their trucks and you're still waiting !? and demand he talk to his manager and their rep. and i know that they wouldn't care , but mention you are looking at alternatives if your truck doesn't move forward in the very near future. cuz just maybe they don't want to lose your sale. maybe when i did it it was just serendipitous . or maybe my email lit a fire. like they say around here, nobody knows you sh*t your pants until you tell them. Otherwise they just know it wasn't them and they ignore it.

I took delivery of my Limited 10th Anniversary last night. All I can say is the truck is amazing! The cloth inserts are nice to me and I don’t think they look or feel cheap at all. Overall this feels twice as luxurious than my 2020 Laramie was. Unfortunately my truck came with scratches from delivery and a spot on the epoxy seam in the tailgate that has to be fixed now. It’s put a damper on things but other than the scratches that will be fixed, it’s an awesome truck!

Congratulations! But DAMN that sucks about the seam AND the scratches. They giving your any break?

I think you went to D1 in whatever crazy process Ram is doing things...in other words it was probably your turn in their "sequence" ...i have b@tched and complained to my dealer various times...different excuses each time....so here i wait and keep coming back to this forum hoping one day to see my number come up....would love to have a truck by Christmas...all i can do is wait and have faith that the process will include me sooner rather than later....

You are correct, my dealer called me today to tell me that my truck was being built, didn't have the heart to burst his bubble and tell him that triple 8 had updated me a day earlier. Hang in there, hopefully you'll be on the same train as me!

Hey, it appears from you pic you installed a matte screen protector on the uConnect? May I ask what brand you went with and does it affect the readability/clarity of the screen at all? Do you have some pics more straight-on with it?

I sent my dealer a text yesterday stating that I was on lucky week 13 after ordering and I had a good feeling that he had good news....He replied with "Assigned Build Date of 11/16/21". Fingers crossed, I will get it in early December. Blind optimism works every once in awhile.

I got a good deal on the truck anyways I think. They told me to get a couple quotes at whatever body shop and they would submit a claim through Ram to have it taken care of. It sucks but, sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.

I can try to take another later as I’m out eating now. It arrived today and it is matte. I’m undecided on it right now though. I can still see the screen fine but, it definitely appears matte in finish enough that I almost don’t like the look.

depends I have seen some waiting for weeks
check the tracker and look at the dates

your build sheet showed up on the 5th expect to wait and you are getting the sprayed in bed liner. i would expect it to take two weeks or more.
but then again could be less could be more.

Current average of those finished is 7 days, Current average of those still waiting is 26 days (assuming they all get WS tomorrow) with range from 1 to 58 days

Be patient folks….. these trucks are well worth the wait, look how much faster the 2022’s are than all the other trucks out there !!! Zoom zoom ……

(of course this is not accurate and just another glitch and any attempt to scold me regarding my speed or driving style will be met with scorn and ridicule)
