So, where’s all the trucks with 4” lift?

I’m not sure that suspension lift affects turning radius.? But I thought the turning radius sucked stock and it still sucks now lol but I guess that’s natural for a crew cab with the 6’4 bed
Sucks as in really sucks. Parking in alot of spots is a 2 step process, so annoying to have to make adjustments in most spots

just kind of part of owning a large or lifted truck... most dont have a sharp turning radius. Solid axle trucks will turn more, but also allows a lot more stress on the components.

Easiest way to park is to pull past the spot a bit and turn away from it, then cut the wheel and back in. Doesn’t require any dry steering or riding the stops or any of this nonsense I watch people do all the time in parking lots.

with all that said, these trucks do seem worse than most. I can’t even u turn in a Normal 4 lane intersection without heavily pregaming it.

For the guys running 4" BDS lift... are you running with stock upper control arms? I dont see a UCA option with the 4" BDS kit so i guess its not necessary to swap it out?

Stock UCA's. That is one benefit of the "full" suspension lift versus a spacer setup - the replacement knuckles maintain the OEM UCA angle geometry (or relatively close to it). Now if you get into using aftermarket coilovers, which could have additional travel compared to the OEM units, an aftermarket UCA with a high-angle joint might be a wise invesement...

My 4in BDS is finally on and I'm so stoked... worth every penny!!! :D

Awesome, thanks for the info! Now trying to decide whats the most aggressive offset i can put on the Rebel with 4" BDS lift and 35s lol

^^^. You could always go with a -24.
-24/-25 is my first choice as of now. However, i also found a rim that i like (Asanti Cleaver) in 20x12 which is a -40 offset. With my truck being a rebel, the 4" BDS lift should put me at 5" of total lift. So I may gamble on the -40 offset in hopes that they wont rub... or that minor plastic trimming would make it work.

Any 20x12 is going to rub. People are reporting rub on 20x10s with -18 offset and 35s with a 6” lift. Some minor trimming usually cleans it up. 20x12s will likely rub pretty bad though.

yep, I’ve had -44 and -51 wheels on my truck. Both rubbed before minor trimming. I haven’t had to cut anything besides the liner, but I imagine being 2” lower would require a lot more trimming.

Thanks for the advice guys! I’ll prob stick to the -24 than to play it safe. Will still be aggressive and look sweet. @PorBoy I saw those, but they are only -12 offset :( appreciate it though. As of now going to go with 4” BDS, 20x10 -24 XD Heist, and 35 ridge grapplers

20x10 -24 still looks plenty aggressive. I’m running -25 on 305/55s with Bushwackers. I will likely be going with the 4” BDS with off-road package front springs in the near future and switch to 35s.

Sweet looking truck!

This a mix of both offsets, but you can see in the one photo with the wheel turned, it’s close. Mudflap is gone, the bracket for it is hammered back, liner is trimmed. Those are the 44, I bet the 51 would rub there in that same position. This is at 7”, so 2” lower I imagine it would be all up in the body.

Well that deff solidifies that I won’t be able to pull off 20x12 with 4 inch lift. I appreciate the pics! That stance is mean. Love the black on black too!

you could do it with a 33 if you really wanted the wider stance and it would still look good IMO but I think the 10 wides on 35s is the better setup like others mentioned

How far back did you have to trim the liner in the fender wall? I just put the 22" Hostile wheel on 35" Nitto's and there is a small about of rubbing when turning all the way in either direction. It's more noticeable when I am backing.

Not all that much.
