SiriusXM Plans & Strategy

Thanks for the info.

Short of calling XMSirius directly, how else can you verify how much longer you have of your "free period"?
Create an account at SiriusXM.com with the e-mail address that the dealership activated your services with. That will show you what radios and subscriptions you have active and the expiration date of them (including free trials).

You can do it from the radio, go into settings, Sirius, and subscription status should be there

... FYI, the Premium, all-access and Platinum plans are different names for the same plan.
Mine was all-access last year, turned into Platinum and is now Premium. No changes including on line streaming.

Many credit cards have "virtual numbers" that can be created with specified spending limits.
If they attempt to charge an amount over the limit you set, it will decline the charge. Great for renewals you forget about or merchants that REQUIRE a credit card.

I've found Sirus radio good for only one thing - college football in the fall. $60 a year is a small price to pay to be able to listen to my favorite games in the truck or the house. It's cheaper than paying for a satellite package and I'm old school who grew up listing to games on the radio.

I tried once about 5 years ago to use a prepaid Visa card as payment. They would not accept it as a form of payment. Wasted the $3 fee for the card.
