SGW 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn

I contacted TOPDON who advised this issue is affecting all J2534 devices from all brands but that the work around is using an older windows version !

Either windows 10 or windows 11 before 24H2.

Hi Dear,

For your issue, you can try reinstalling the WiTech 2.0 software.

As of now, it is reported that Chrysler has not provided an official solution, and no response is expected before December 31, 2025.

Alternatively, you can install Windows 11 24H2 or earlier versions, or use the Windows 10 system.

Thanks for your support and patience!"

Hmmm, the laptop I’m using is on windows 10, I believe. I’ll verify tonight and try some things to see if it’ll connect.

One of the "Topdon masters"on their forum advised that a similar happened before with j2534 with Mercedes software, and the solution was updating C++ on your computer. He provided a link to the latest one
See thread here:

Can anyone confirm if you can get it to connect with latest rlink software and updated C++ and or older windows version.
