I know there are several different options out there for the SGW on these Rams. I am looking to do First Responder lighting (headlight / tail light flash ect using the SpeedTurtle OBDII Module) on a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn (Crew Cab) with the 3.0L Hurricane. Wondering if someone out there with access to this kinda thing can point me in the right direction? I know on the 2019 Jeep Cherokee and older Rams there was a SGW Module (2 plug) and also several other Rams that had to be plugged directly into the BCM Blocks. How can I find out what specifically I have on my 2025 Ram? I have looked up under the dash and behind the Speedometer and Radio and did not see the 2 plug SGW module so I am wondering if they went to a different style on the 2025's. Thanks in advance!

Because of the new canbus system and the fact that it is encrypted, I'm not sure how long before you see anything like you are asking.

Edited. Info I posted was misleading. I do not believe Speedturtle will work at this time until a new bypass is created.

Thank you gents for the information! Much much appreciated!

Unless something changed for ‘25, the SGM is under driver side dash. Behind knee bolster. 2 wire harness. According to DealerConnect, it’s still there. I haven’t personally used the Speedturtle on a ‘25 either, but I’d imagine it should work. Only thing I found with the DT trucks is when using factory button controls for activating is that the instructions are wrong. Mainly the Fords used the BCM block, I’ve installed those as well and am familiar with these as well.
Lots of things changed for 2025

Agreed. After looking at current wire diagrams, I do not believe any model Speedturtle will work until they make one for these. However, the SGM is still behind the knee bolster, just not exactly where it was. Lol.

As punishment, I’ll spend the rest of my day studying these horrible diagrams. However, in my defense, DealerConnect is using the same picture in service library as the old 2 connector setup.

while the diagrams may look the same the actual network itself (can bus) is totally different on the 25. I deal with these networks on our ag equipment as they seem to change them every year.

The new canbus is very different as I said earlier. They haven't changed much since 2019, but the 2025 is much different.

Would one of you fine gents be able to direct me to the wiring for the LED Headlights (I believe its the premium connector) and tail lights (I believe this is also the premium connector as its the 8 pin connector). 2025 Ram 1500 SST 3.0TT Engine.
