Saw the new Tundra today

Hmm... maybe. The newer Titans just have a "sad" or "droopy" look about them though.
I might just have to agree with you. The Titan's issue is it can never quite figure where to put chrome, and it DOES NOT look good on the front.....There is no other chrome on this truck besides here. Rear
bumper is body color....front needs to be body color as well..... Looks like its frowning. AND WTF.....no fog lights on a SV???titfront.jpg

Sometimes I wonder if THIS is why our trucks come so screwed up from the factory. With all this "stuff" all over them, they don't get real wind noise, they aren't subject to leaks (it's damn near tented), and they have weight on all the panels to keep the rattles away. Maybe if they'd just realize that it isn't going to hide anything and that employees will eventually leak a preview, we could get them testing the trucks the way WE drive them! Just a thought!

That's pretty fugly to be honest, not gonna lie. 🤮

The current gen is much nicer, they should have just made it a little more rugged. What is going on with that front end? That hood is almost as long as my bed.

I think it looks really good, and I hate Toyota lol.

The proportions are off. Hood is too long, cab is not tall enough, and those crummy black plastic wheel arches are there because .... ?

And then check out that giant tablet which looks like an ipad they just wood-screwed to the dash.

Designed by high schoolers on a budget. And I hate Toyota too lol.

I did consider the current gen tundra before my 2019 ram, but gas mpg and ride and 6 speed wouldn't cut it for me, but the looks of that gen is much nicer IMHO. This new gen looks like a bloated taco (which is probably what they wanted, "corporate design language" yada yada).

Welp, guess I'm sticking with Ram for the forseeable future.

Doesn't look any longer than a Ram 1500 Quad Cab..... Hood looks about the same to me. I guess different perceptions here......

P.S. The GMC Sierra has similar black plastic wheel arches.

The Red Extended Cab looks A LOT better than this white one. I can't see the red grille head on, but this white one is hideous!!!!

Yea, the Ram has a long hood, I'm guessing this Tundra is about the same length.

You're right about the sierra, but they look better there for some reason. The tundra's just start and stop out of nowhere, the sierra's wrap all the way from edge to edge.

There is no accounting for taste I guess, but this Tundra has nothing attractive about it IMHO. It doesn't look expensive, it doesn't look tough/rugged, it doesn't even look plain. It just looks like a bunch of gaping crevices and awkward angles. Typical of modern Toyota styling.

I think a lot of you will change your mind once you see it in person. “Saw the tundra today, and it looks way better in person than in the photos”, is gonna be a thing. Like the 4 series, I think it looks awesome in person and in photos, and now everyone likes it. Imo that limited looks way better than the TRD Pro.
