I recently installed a rough country bull bar. I noticed after the first snow storm it has surface rust already. Anyone else having this issue? I haven’t reached out to them yet.
I attached a pic.

Looks normal surface rust give it a good cleaning but it will probably come back. The coatings nowadays aren't very good unless you get it line-x'ed. I got 2 winters out of my GoRhino side steps before they got surface rust. Gave then a good cleaning and scuffed them up a bit before I put tremclad rust paint on them. They all good now.
