Has anyone painted or applied decals to their Ram 1500 to make it two tone? There's a dealer who's selling two tone F150's and I'm wondering what our Ram 1500's would look like with a similar paint scheme.

I'm unfortunately considered a millennial but even the millennials call me an old man. I was wondering if anyone has done this to their truck. I would say the lines of the truck would allow for something similar to the ford. It has a defined indent towards the bottom and the top tapers off. Even the tailgate has a defined section in the middle that a while decal could be applied. Do we have anyone who's good with Photoshop on the forum? I would like to see what it would look like before paying someone to make and install the decals on my truck.

My truck doesn't have the sport package otherwise I would have had 2 racing stripes down the middle. I have attached 3 photos of my truck so that hopefully someone can Photoshop the two tone onto it as it looks like no one has done this mod yet.

We have a thread here about this. A dealership did a few. Of course. After searching for 45 minutes. I can not find it

I looked before I posted as well. I didn't want to create a duplicate thread.
It was right when the classic was announced and a dealer did the 80s 2 tone and ram hood ornament. But I sure can not find it.

The thread was met with disgust, so I can not remember how it was worded.

Me, I liked it, but I love 80s and 90s PowerRam trucks.

Dealer info and pic is in this thread.

I know there are more as well. But I am tired of searching.

One reason the old two tones looked good was because the paint lines were straight and rectangular, just like the truck. It’s going to be tough for straight retro paint lines to look good on these complicated trucks with a bunch of curved lines.
