Removing cell modem?

Correct. The shark fin contains the am/fm radio antenna (directly to the radio), cellular antenna, and SDARS antenna (both of those cables go to the TBM). LTE antenna is mounted on the TBM.
Since the Sirius xm tuner is in the radio module, you are just bypassing the TBM, and connecting the SDARS cable from the shark fin directly to the radio. That way, xm will still work, along with the compass and native maps (well, native maps would still work anyway, but the direction arrow and heading might get a little confused sometimes).

now I just need to figure out how to get to the TBM……

Use the documents posted above. It’s pretty straightforward. Remove the lower glovebox, remove the carpet close out panel under the glovebox, pull the knee panel dividing the upper and lower gloveboxes, remove all the bolts for the glovebox frames, remove upper glovebox, and unbolt the TBM from the dash frame tube to access the connectors.

Here’s a little more detail with pics. It’s for an HD ram, but the 1500 is identical:
Jimmy you are an electrical genius. Do you know about Durangos? There are no good Durango forums like this that I can find. I want to add blind spot warning, but can't find anything.

Had a Durango RT since 2019. It’s just not that forum-popular. I’ve cobbled most of my info together from JGC forums since it’s practically the same vehicle.

What about the Android Auto & Bluetooth? Where are they located (TBM or radio unit)? Do they work when TBM is disabled?

Those are in the radio. When you connect with AA it uses the built in gps. If it's disconnected I'm not sure if it would properly fail back to the gps on your phone.

Just pulled the telematics box based on instructions provided in this thread. Not too difficult but they certainly don't give you much cable length on the power side. I un bolted the box (2 x 10mm) and swung the left end towards the back and got the black connector and then the power (blue flip) out. No error messages yet. I did use the fakra connector as suggested and connected the blue to the brown to bypass the TBM2. Still pissed they think this crap is ok. They can eat a giant bag of #$%^s.

Same here, but I removed it all together then connected blue & brown. It was not easy to get out, and I have a lot of tools, used a lot of my arsenal. Bloody hands and a lot of cussing but it's out and went through all the config 18 settings and set to NO for all but two that were not a yes/no setting.

Has anyone removed the TBM on a 2025 Ram with the Hurricane engine? Or even just unplugged the power source? I've Read pretty much every thread that i could find on the matter. I'm thinking about giving it a shot this weekend or on Christmas break. I've already opted out of the data collection at Mobilisights
But i still do not trust that my metadata is not a commodity. I'd rather it just not exist.

engine or trim makes no difference for this. I would suspect physically the same for removing etc however the BCM settings and the ability to do so may be different or not possible at this time from all that I have gathered about the 25+ trucks with the new system being different than previous years. I'm sure someone will figure it out eventually once BCM settings are fully manageable via alfaobd or alike.

After reading this and researching the same for my '21, I found that I could call SiriusXM Guardian and request that they disable all telematics.

The agent said that it was very easy to do and it took just a few minutes. She said that she disabled access from the in-vehicle WIFI and the AT&T cellular functionality. She informed me that the SOS button will no longer work, the WIFI option will not work and any data collection from the RAM app is disabled.

And, if I want to re-enable these features, it takes only a phone call.

I did confirm from the agent that no data collection will be done going forward. She said that with the WIFI and ATT cellular option disabled, SiriusXM Guardian will not collect or obtain any information from my truck as my VIN/name/account is blocked in their system.

I originally opted out of the service. I recently opted back in so that I could purchase the remote start for wintertime. But I'll never pay $20 a month for an app. I thought it was cheaper. So, now that I know that I just want the device completely physically disabled or out of my truck. If they can turn it off over the phone, they can also turn it on whenever they want to. All of the controls in the vehicle are fly by wire. What that means is your truck 100% can be hacked and controlled by someone. I don't ever want to be in a (Micheal Hastings) type crash. If I can help it. Although, I've not pissed off any generals yet.

Also, since I've reactivated the connected services, my stereo cuts out for about half a second every few minutes while driving. Six miles to work and it cut out five times. It was doing the same thing when I first bought the truck a year ago. I'm going to opt out again today to see if that fixes the issue.
