Remove passenger display

Has anyone removed the passenger display on the new trucks yet?

IMHO - it's virtually useless if you use CarPlay. I want the upper glove box back.

Basically, you would just buy the upper glove box parts and swap them in. You’ll need to plug a jumper adapter into the connector that was plugged into the screen (because unplugging the screen breaks communication from the gateway to the radio module).

I guess the next question is if anyone knows if the passenger screen can be added to an older truck with UC4? I'm thinking it's not possible to retrofit an older system with the screen, but I know people will start asking!
