Remove passenger display

Basically, you would just buy the upper glove box parts and swap them in. You’ll need to plug a jumper adapter into the connector that was plugged into the screen (because unplugging the screen breaks communication from the gateway to the radio module).

Thanks @Jimmy07!

I guess the next question is if anyone knows if the passenger screen can be added to an older truck with UC4? I'm thinking it's not possible to retrofit an older system with the screen, but I know people will start asking!

Kinda late here, but I’m considering ordering a 2026 Limited 1500. It includes the passenger interactive display, but I don’t really care or want it, but it’s included in the package.
Jimmy07, could you elaborate on the “jumper plug”? Or better yet, would you make any jumper plugs so I could eliminate the display.

I know I started this thread… I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Has anyone tried this successfully?

I’m curious for 2019 with UC5 12in screen. Assume there would be some weird nuance with the older bcm.

I love pointless showy mods. So yes. Interested. Lol
