the gear ratio matters but there’s other factors at play such as Rolling resistance (weight, width, tread aggressiveness) of wheel tire setup and transmission (4spd vs 6 vs modern 8). If you have 12 wides and aggressive mud tires and try to run 75 on the highway all the time through rolling hills it will become annoying. But that’s an extreme case really, I wouldn’t be worried about anything with a 4” kit and normal usage. Especially with a moderate wheel/tire setup.
Thank you, I'm planning Nittos 35"X12.5R22 and yes, my truck wouldn't be going 75 through rolling hills...I just wonder about increase in vibration due to the big tires and the 4"lift...I guess I'll see!

I mean it’s worse than stock, assuming you have all season tires or what not, but it’s really not that bad.

I’ve driven this truck from TX to FL and back on the terra grapplers. And on 2 hour trips on the 12 wides and amp MT. Granted I’ve been driving lifted trucks all my life but it’s not that bad. My wife rides in them lol.

I’m trying to follow along here but just want to confirm. What level is your air ride suspension on in that picture?

Thank you SColang22, that is what I wanted to read, I also have a ram truck but with an air suspension so I was wondering if it was good idea to lift it with the BDS suspension 4", I also have a gear ratio of 3.92. Thanks again!
Does anyone know if a 2 or 3 inch suspension lift is available that works with air suspension? I would love a 4 inch but I drive clients around so I don’t want it to be too noticeablely lifted

That’s not an air ride truck, procomp kit at 7” on 35s. I was just commenting on the drivability of a lifted truck, I drove that truck all over. 23k miles in one year, most than half lifted. Mileage kind of sucked, but hemi + lift and what can you do.

That makes much more sense... I’m itching to get ABS 4 inch lift but nervous how it will fit into most parking garages. I used to have a 6 inch lift on my Chevy 1500 and it fit almost anywhere

Not really, I do not know is there’s a BDS lift kit of that kind, other than the one I’m planning to use on mine.

You have a nice ride there! Looks awesome! My plan is to use Nitto ridge grapplers, which claims to be a hybrid tire and Buch can be use in and off road... and supposedly a “quiet” ride.
