Anyone know where we could find a vinyl overlay for the red portion (with BSW) of the taillights ?

This! I was thinking the same thing! I’m not sure if it would affect the BSM feature at all, but I’d certainly love to have the black taillights without dropping a grand to have it. I could get on board with $15 tho!

I added the red insert to the “Rebel” today. It’s the only red decal I added as I like the less is more look. Couple of observations.. don’t use too much pressure or scrubbing with your rubbing alcohol and cotton swap. I could see the paint starting to rub off. Lastly, cut both ends off a Q-tip, one at a 90 degree angle and the other at a 45. The stiff ends makes pressing the decal into small crevasses easy.

Any idea how these stand up to sitting in the sun everyday. Will they fade and have to be replaced?
Only had them for a month. still look same as when i put them and my truck is out side in the Texas sun 100% of the time. my father in law worked for GSG graphics which is a material supplier and said is is fairly durable. the color should be fine for the duration the layer that makes it reflective will deteriorate slowly. he also said you probably wont notice anything wrong until one night you walk out and they just aren't as "pop" as they once were. but as a fair disclaimer that was the experience he said some of his clients noticed and the film may be different now. He left GSG graphics a year or so ago. and they are always coming out with new cool vinyl all the time.
