Rebels with Nerfbars/sidesteps

Go Rhino rb10. Love em. I wanted the Mopar off road ones but not for $900. So these are the closes I could fine and they are great. Hated the big silver logo so I removed it with ease. Used a 1/8 drill bit and drilled the rive. Can even tell it was ever there.

I have these too and I'm a fan. I think they're a good effective step. They don't stick out too far, and they don't hang too low. I wanted a high and tight step!

That's exactly where I was stuck when choosing between the Dominator D6 and DSS. I like the look of the DSS much better than my D6 steps, but I had a feeling they would be a little less functional in use. If I had to do it again, I might go with the DSS based on the looks, but I'm sure the little lady would raise hell about not being able to get in and out easily enough.
Same here, I too like the DSS look over the D6 but hearing lots of complains on about not being wide enough for getting out of the truck. I guess they are more of slider than a running board. So im leaning on getting the D6, Do you still like yours?

drove my 80 year old mother-in-law to the grocery store yesterday in the Rebel. She didn't have any trouble getting into the truck using the step, but it is difficult getting out. I am planning on adding a step ring that will roughly be 2.5" x 6". Once I have it fully thought out and welded/bolted on, I'll post pics. Should look/function very well.
I just order the DSS for my Rebel. Just wondering if you ever did any mods to yours to get a wider step?

Oddly enough mine came from the dealer with Go Rhino RB20's installed. That was a big convenience for me as those were the ones I was going to buy since they're so much cheaper than the Mopar ones. I did remove the Go Rhino logo though!

2019 RAM 1500 Rebel Quad Cab -
I wanted something with a bit more of an "off-road" look to it.
First - tried Havoc Offroad HS2 Hoops (https://havocoffroad.com/p/havoc-hs2-black-hoop-steps/hpg-001202/) only to find that they do NOT fit Quad Cab - Their web site says they will fit but if you don't catch one reference to "5-lug wheels" you'll get the wrong steps.

So I hooked up with Tyger Armour - confirmed fit with Quad cab - 6-lug (new cab design) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MVQT9R5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The price is right and these are solid as h*ll. The fit is so good, I could lift these on by myself. Although, as others have mentioned in other threads - do yourself a favor and run a die (8x1.25) over the threads of the studs to remove the paint before you try to spin the nuts on. I was surprised at how thick the paint is on those studs. View attachment 30818View attachment 30819View attachment 30820

The look is just right (for me) the design is spot on - no wrestling to get them on, are rock solid, came packed really well (no disaster in-a-box when they arrived) and priced right - I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone looking for this style step.
How have those held up after over a year of use? Any rusting?

N-Fab Podiums installed today. Love em.
Sorry my truck is filthy. Weather has sucked here.

Had the Nfab on my 2018 Ram but liked the looks of the ICI Magnum RT steps so put those on my 2020 Rebel.

I picked up a set of Rough Country HD2 running boards and installed them today. The install was simple and the pricing was right around $350+tax with free shipping. Now the family can get in and out without having to climb in. I didn't see anyone install them yet so I went a different route. The running boards do have some adjustment but this is with them all the way moved in toward the body. The running boards have plenty of room for your foot and Rough Country rated each step at 500lbs per side. I liked the limited lifetime warranty and they were in stock.

BDAAFD5B-FC73-429A-81D6-A42FE21ABA7B.jpegWestin Outlaw Bars. Applied Rhino Liner spray on gaudy Westin Logo. Turned out to be a near perfect match. Also, easy to install with decent instructions.

Hey all, I need some advice on these.

My wife has shorter legs and it was a big deal for her to get into the truck for the test drive. Getting out was also a rough scene as I can see the seat bolster wearing out really quickly from the sliding in and out across it. My last truck had Westin stainless steel nerf bars that weren't too low, weren't too high and didn't stick out. They were perfect and your foot didn't kick the rocker panels.

I'm seeing a lot of these bars look very high or very shallow, which means the truck will be kicked regularly. The Westin bars I had before are a style that won't fit this truck. What bar, not step, provides ample space to put your foot, but doesn't look out of place? Are the factory ones ok?

Check out Westin RM-5. Nice steps and you can get them in wheel to wheel if you prefer. I went with the w2w for easier bed access. They also have a nice LED kit if you want to add. I haven't got the LED kit yet but will be getting it.

Amazon had these on sale for 350$. would have taken 30 minutes if there wasn't paint all over the factory bolts. easy install regardless. 20201228_214048.jpg20201228_213201.jpg20201228_195235.jpg

I also went with the Rough Country. I liked the angled look, to me it looks more modern. Easy install and relativly inexpensive at $350.
