Rebel X

I stepped up from my 2008 F350 to a new 2025 Rebel X at the end of December. Boy, has technology changed. We bought the truck mainly for our older big dog, who's enjoying the rear passenger area. The flip-up seats with flat deck area is a boon. I am enjoying many aspects of the truck, including the ultra-smooth ride. Winter handling on our snow and icy roads is confidence-inspiring.

A few things have come up:

Twice now, my dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree with error messages scrolling through the dash. When it settles down, I turn the ignition off. When turning the ignition back on, the CEL comes on. I go the dealer for a "what's up" warranty visit. This has happened twice. They both returned with a "we don't show anything wrong". Has anyone else had this happen to them, and has the issue been rectified?

The second thing is that the front of the truck is raked down more than the back. When I called the dealer, they said that the trucks are like this so that when a trailer is added, it levels out. Makes sense, except that I'm seeing owner-posted photos of their stock Rebel X trucks that don't have the rake in the front. Are my eyes deceiving me? All I know is that I don't like it and want to get a leveling kit upfront. I am thinking a 2" level kit, but I'm not sure about the best brand to use. I'm not getting new tires or anything else. Any input would be appreciated.

When my struts went out in my 2019 I nearly went with fox 2.5s. From what i can tell they offer a comfy ride and would do away with the rake. I opted not to b/c I didnt want to spend that much as I was getting ready to purchase a really nice firearm. So I replaced them with OEM. From what I can tell those 2.5s are suppose to be pretty nice.

I would love to get Rebel GT but not willing to just give away my Limited for a few dollars. When I find a dealer that really wants to make a sale and give me what I want for my Limited, then I will get serious. Let a deal get away this past December and I regret it. $80k Rebel for my truck and $250/mo on a 42 month lease. No money down. The Rebel was loaded with the pkgs that I would have to have. My bad...A dealership employee had ordered it and then changed her mind, so they were trying to move it.

2025 Rebel X here with a question. I have equipment group 2 with the center console shifter and such. I only have the back-up camera BUT, there is a camera in the grill and in the side mirrors...is there a way to activate those other cameras? At least the front one?

Not an expert, but you should have the 360 cameras if you see the cameras in the girll and mirrors. I only have the rear.

The "camera" in your grille is an imposter. I'm sure you need the Advanced Safety Group for surround view.

got a 25 Rebel X waiting for me to pick up on the lot. any questions or concerns from the group I should be aware of? Coming off a 22 Rebel with the hemi.
