Rebel X

By the way didn't mention, this is my first gas truck. Always had cumins. Don't tow heavy anymore, so thought, the Rebel X would be a nice change, no more worries about DPF filters, etc.
Congrats! You bought a fine truck enjoy!

Not sure low to start a new post. So, just a comment to anyone that has used liquid moly oil. Research says it helps with LSPI, which was mentioned by JMR. The 0W20 meets MS6395 for the SO hurricane. Since, I am new, just trying to gain some knowledge of what is working and will benefit my new Rebel X. Thanks.

Took delivery on my Rebel X Jan 4th. Drove from Lake Charles back to my Ranch in AZ, 1200 miles. Nice break in. Kept it under 55 for 300 miles, then under 75 for next 600 miles, no cruise control and varied the speed all the way. 20.4 mpg on first tank, after the 900 mile break in, 18.5 with cruise control after 1,000 miles. What a wonderful truck!

test drove 2 Rebel X trucks this past weekend in NJ and have a question for current owners, what is gods name is the velcro patch on the driver and passenger seat? neither dealer had an answer and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Not sure what patch your talking about. I don't have one. Or are you talking about the loops on the bottom back of the seats?

Ok I finally see the Velcro patch you are referring to. It's on both seats on the inside top edge, circled in blue. I'm not sure why it's like that, but first guess is perhaps there might be an air bag under that area? Didn't bother me too much since I've had the truck 2 weeks and just now noticing it after you pointed it out, LOL.

that is what i am talking about for sure. No one has an answer. One dealer told me it was there in order to attach accessories to them like a first aid kit or some other nonsense. just makes no sense and I cannot find an answer on it. Just odd in those 2 spots. Rest of truck is amazing.

You can put Military Patches on there..or any available variety of loop-back patches (the BTS Rams had this first).

I traded in my 2014 Limited for the Rebel X with Multi-function tailgate, its been a month now, and I have finally stopped reaching for the shift knob!!!

Sometimes I turn down the radio volume when shifting into reverse.

I traded in my 2014 Limited for the Rebel X with Multi-function Tailgate and Advanced Towing Package, I had 98,500 miles on the 2014 with Air Suspenion being the worst troubles I had. I am hoping the Rebel X tows as good as the Limited, though I suspect I will have to address the squat on this softer suspension. I rides great, has as much luxury as the limited and looks Freaking Awesome in my opinion.

Sorry for the double post...

that is a nice ride for sure. I have the Delmonico Red now in a 22 night edition Rebel. Test drove a white Rebel X this weekend and loved every second of it. trying to keep holding off on pricing still a tad high but not many X's on the lots anymore. Down to black, white or silver at this point.

I think I found the secret to better fuel economy in city. I've made 4 in town trips for a total of about 30 miles. I've achieved 17mpg average.
Here is what I did.
Sport Mode then select 2wd.
Manually shift the transmission with either paddles or gear shifter. Target all shifts around 2200 rpm.
Target <2000 (1500 is ideal) rpm for driving constant speeds.
Burning 87 octane.
To be fair I only hit 17 for a short period and then averaged 16.8.
This is far better then he 13 I was getting before.

The end of year sales were pretty good here in NH, almost $14k off sticker before trade in, they did charge me $190 to have it driven from the Vermont Dealership to Tri-City CDJR, it was worth the price to get what I wanted and I didn't have to make a 200 mile round trip. They still have a REBEL X in the Desert Sand and Black here but without the Multi-Function Tailgate.

The Rebel is a great looking truck, adding a few nice touches with the X package makes it an Excellent Truck to drive IMO...

It is a spot to add a Velcro Patch, like on military uniforms, First Responders or American Flags and the like.

New RAM owner here! Coming from a 2019 F150 STX, this thing is amazing. I didn't see any threads specifically for the Rebel X, so I figured I would start one to share our mods, gripes, tips, and general knowledge. Let the discussion on the Rebel X begin!
I just got mine... love it! She is a beauty...

Nice, I took delivery of my White Rebel X about a week ago after waiting about 7 Months. Definitely worth the wait. I also added new wheels and tires. Does anyone know how to disable the TPMS system? Having to have the rear wheel tire pressure at 45 and front at 55 is not working for me. I usually run 35-40 but I get a constant error of low tire pressure.. Any know how do disable?
I ordered the Rebel X and GT on May 02. The GT arrived in mid-November, while the X is still in production. I am happy I purchased the GT, but that red stitching isn't for me. Both the Rebel X and GT are relatively the same. It also appears there are more Rebel X's than GT's out there.
I have the same concern I took delivery of my 2025 rebel X3 days ago and was checking the tire pressure monitor and it said at 56 for the front and 45 for the rear at first I thought my tires were gonna explode until I found out that’s how they’re set from the factory it rides good but if I take it off road, I’m afraid my tires will pop
