Thanks for replying! I think more people are having this issue but haven't noticed it. I'm going to the dealer Friday to check the trucks on the lot.I have this same issue!!!! Noticed it a while ago been too lazy to go to the dealer glad I’m not the only one
Saw this today. The warp is right above the sliding rear window. It's kinda hard to see but it's there. Almost creased looking. Is anyone else's like this? I can't feel anything, like it's under the glass part.

Just checked mine, looks like the crease you have except I have about 3 of them, very subtle though. It's plastic, so I think it's just normal variance in the material. Its hard to see unless you look at an angle in the shade.
I doubt a replacement piece would be any better and I would not want the dealer trying to replace it, open up a big can of worms on my rear window.
Hey all, just wanted to chime in on this. Just took delivery of a 2020 Rebel and the plastic trim under my sliding window looks like it was heated up with a heat gun and severely warped. Looks like there might be an issue with this new gloss black plastic used on the rear windows on 2019+ trucks. There isn't anything electrical located at that position, so what could possibly cause this?

On the plus side, my dealer is taking care of it. The plastic pieces can be ordered separately. Thankfully, they don't need to replace the entire rear window.I have the same problem. Even trucks still on the lot have this issue. No clue what's causing it.
That's good info! Let us know how it turns out.On the plus side, my dealer is taking care of it. The plastic pieces can be ordered separately. Thankfully, they don't need to replace the entire rear window.
Hi deanfx, Maric550 and SD Rebel,
We would be happy to have this documented for you as well as connect you with a case specialist to work with while having your dealer address this! Our team is available via private message if this is something you would be interested in.

Following up on this. My dealer got the part in and took care of it for me at no charge. I brought my truck in and was out within an hour - they even washed it for me. The trim is a peel and stick piece held to the window frame with space-age double-sided tape. That's good info! Let us know how it turns out.
The piece is an individual trim piece not part of the frame? I have a scratch in mine and thought I had to live with it. Do you have a part number on your paperwork? On the plus side, my dealer is taking care of it. The plastic pieces can be ordered separately. Yeah, part # for the lower trim (below slider) is 68402769AA, and the upper panel (above slider) is 68402768AA.The piece is an individual trim piece not part of the frame? I have a scratch in mine and thought I had to live with it. Do you have a part number on your paperwork?

insert edit -- after further thought and going back to the post I responded to . . . I will say, for Alex's sake - Alex I AM truly sorry if I offended YOU . . . but the "social Care specialist" thing caught me off guard, and I thought it was hilarious, that's when my reaction kicked in. I also want to say, that any of my other Ram Cares posts were/are never meant to be directed AT the person attending to Our Members Complaint - They are intended for the Corporate Ram Cares Mentality that seems so pervasive across the board. All the problems, all the frustrations members have expressed are REAL and it SEEMS they don't get a TIMELY "due course". end edit! There is no need to insult someone doing their job. "social care" refers to being online, like "social media" etc. So they're somebody who as part of their job, responds to users on a forum or facebook etc etc.
Their hands may be tied at times, just like any other company representative, but at least you know Ram is here and listening, and they have helped out many users here in the past.
They were a huge asset in getting my truck fixed. They reached out to me after seeing me post here. I myself am extremely grateful for their help. There is no need to insult someone doing their job.
