Saw this today. The warp is right above the sliding rear window. It's kinda hard to see but it's there. Almost creased looking. Is anyone else's like this? I can't feel anything, like it's under the glass part.

Thanks for replying! I think more people are having this issue but haven't noticed it. I'm going to the dealer Friday to check the trucks on the lot.

Just checked mine, looks like the crease you have except I have about 3 of them, very subtle though. It's plastic, so I think it's just normal variance in the material. Its hard to see unless you look at an angle in the shade.

I doubt a replacement piece would be any better and I would not want the dealer trying to replace it, open up a big can of worms on my rear window.

Hi deanfx, Maric550 and SD Rebel,
We would be happy to have this documented for you as well as connect you with a case specialist to work with while having your dealer address this! Our team is available via private message if this is something you would be interested in.

Hey all, just wanted to chime in on this. Just took delivery of a 2020 Rebel and the plastic trim under my sliding window looks like it was heated up with a heat gun and severely warped. Looks like there might be an issue with this new gloss black plastic used on the rear windows on 2019+ trucks. There isn't anything electrical located at that position, so what could possibly cause this?

I have the same problem. Even trucks still on the lot have this issue. No clue what's causing it.

On the plus side, my dealer is taking care of it. The plastic pieces can be ordered separately. Thankfully, they don't need to replace the entire rear window.

Following up on this. My dealer got the part in and took care of it for me at no charge. I brought my truck in and was out within an hour - they even washed it for me. The trim is a peel and stick piece held to the window frame with space-age double-sided tape. :) Good as new.

The piece is an individual trim piece not part of the frame? I have a scratch in mine and thought I had to live with it. Do you have a part number on your paperwork?

There is no need to insult someone doing their job. "social care" refers to being online, like "social media" etc. So they're somebody who as part of their job, responds to users on a forum or facebook etc etc.

Their hands may be tied at times, just like any other company representative, but at least you know Ram is here and listening, and they have helped out many users here in the past.

insert edit -- after further thought and going back to the post I responded to . . . I will say, for Alex's sake - Alex I AM truly sorry if I offended YOU . . . but the "social Care specialist" thing caught me off guard, and I thought it was hilarious, that's when my reaction kicked in. I also want to say, that any of my other Ram Cares posts were/are never meant to be directed AT the person attending to Our Members Complaint - They are intended for the Corporate Ram Cares Mentality that seems so pervasive across the board. All the problems, all the frustrations members have expressed are REAL and it SEEMS they don't get a TIMELY "due course". end edit!
. . . And so, I'm happy for those who HAVE been helped in a timely manner, no doubt . I may not Like the "Ram Cares Corporate Standard Responses," as I'm sure you are aware from other replies - totally (& here), from a heartfelt angst for the RAM Owner & the Frustration(s) they feel toward said Ram Cares "Standard" responses (most of the time!). However I am anything but "insulting," as I would hope you can see by all the smilie faces etcetera. I think you - well in fact you did - misinterpret my intention here. IT WAS A JOKE, but you did not see it as so . . . ! You took "this" to a PERSONAL LEVEL amongst members and I TRY Very hard to not do that. We ALL have "our days," and I have NO ill feelings about this or you for stating your opinion, but let's try to be a little kinder in doing so - I will attempt to do the same . . . shall we move on?
ps; I've had my own interaction with Ram Cares via my email and it too has been "Very Trying" to get a real sense, from who ever he, she or they are, that they are DOING what they say in their "Standard Corporate Responses" - this has been my experience . . ., haven't shared that here till now, knowing that it would be Controversial and illicit not wanting responses (perhaps!?). IF it helps I have (NOW) chosen to No Longer make ANY COMMENTS IN REGARDS TO ANY Ram Cares Posts . . . just not worth the effort cause the replies seem to always be the same , with just the nuance of the "item" in need of "attention". I truly hope the % of Happy Customers gets better . . . for OUR sakes at least. and with that I will close (y)  :D .

They were a huge asset in getting my truck fixed. They reached out to me after seeing me post here. I myself am extremely grateful for their help.
