Yeah I'm not huge fan of how the smaller opening looks but "if" it fixes the leak issue then I'm all for it. When mine leaks again I'll take a closer look at this option or just say screw it and put in a non-slider.
Love the truck & tent combo!3 tubes will do it.
Clean it good, dry it thoroughly and use masking tape.
That sucks. At least you're in good company.Well,
Add me to the d@mn list. I fell victim to having a wet headliner today after a downpour. Rear passenger side. Dripping from the corner.
No cracks that I can see. And it’s only one side so I assume it’s not the CHMSL.
Permatex here I come.

Will do. Seems like 3 tubes should do itLeaking from the corner, been there, done it.
Just do the whole thing, all the way across and down the sides.
edit: just to make sure, check the CHMSL gasket.
3 tubes were enough to mine. Will do. Seems like 3 tubes should do it
They only had two still start with that I guess3 tubes were enough to mine.
Why not, do the corners now and the middle later. They only had two still start with that I guess
That’s what I was thinking. But…..Will making the corners higher stop the water in the middle from draining? Why not, do the corners now and the middle later.
In did the opposite, middle first to stop that leak and then the corners when they started to leak.
I bought some on amazon 4 tubes for like 20 bucksThey only had two still start with that I guess
did you pull the black strip up on the ends? how does that fasten down?Well, let’s see how permatex works. I did the shark fin and the third brake light too (took it off for the glass part)

Yes I did. It snaps down with some clips. Used trim tools to start prying them, but had to use a flat head screwdriver to actually pop it up. It made me nervous for a min honestlydid you pull the black strip up on the ends? how does that fasten down?
Yes, but if there are no cracks then it does not matter, it will just over-flowThat’s what I was thinking. But…..Will making the corners higher stop the water in the middle from draining?
