Rear Window Leak Class Action Lawsuit Status Update

Looking for advice. On 4/19/2023 my son bought a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 with 73758 miles on it for $35k which included a service contract ($4563). On 1/6/25 my son left for Ranger school. The other men in the house also left for Ranger School. One of his mates got dropped after 60 days and returned to the house to find my sons car covered in condensation and mould. Long story short it has $1400 worth of damage that has to be replaced from the leak in the 3rd brake light. The 3rd brake light and gasket were covered by Dodge. My son is still in Ranger School and has no idea of what is going on. I had to get the carpet, silencer, deadener and rear seat replaced. I do not think we should be responsible for this cost. So, I started with the dealership and they refused to cover the cost of the damages. I called Stantis and they were no help, such bad customer service, if he buys a Dodge again I will disown him. Called Dodge corporate and they told me to have the dealership escalate the complaint through a thing called "Goodwill Warrantee Grid". When the dealership did that, Dodge only offered to cover 10% of the damages. I told them that is was unacceptable, the defective part caused these damages. I left a message again with the original dealer and they have not called me back (its weeks now). So I filed a complaint with the BBB in Michigan, Stellantis stated that I was offered 10% and that was all that they were giving. I told BBB that this is insulting and they "noted that I was not happy" lol but could do nothing else (what a joke). I filed another complainant with Ocean County NJ Consumer Affairs (the truck was bought in NJ), I have a person there trying to help but the dealership told them that they are not paying for the damages. I called the Attorney Generals office and they advised a Civil Suit in NJ which I will file today. I also contacted a local TV Station and they are looking into it. Any other advice is greatly appreciated. I am also worried about the possible damage to the electronics in the car.

Thank you

Just to let everyone know, the class action lawsuit I quoted in the initial post was dismissed with prejudice on 9/30/23. FCA's attorneys were better than the plaintiff's attorney.
