Folks,

I'm about to buy a 2021. I think I'm pretty set on my configuration. However, one thing I don't see in the listing or in the images, is the rear seat in-floor storage. I test drove a couple, and they seemed to have the storage. NOT the under-seat bin, but almost a shoebox sized cubby near each rear door, in the floor.

Is this standard, or do I need to dig into another set of options or packages?

Thanks,
Ken

P.S. Guess who dinged the Ram website when asked to review it. ;)

I believe it is standard on the crew cabs and is not available with the quad cab.

Quad cabs do not get them. Last I checked they were standard on all Crew Cab trims.

However the HeavyDuty has dropped them from TRADESMAN trim.

So as long as you are looking at a 1500 and over a tradesman trim in crew cab...they should be standard.

You didn't state your configuration...that would help.

A buddy was just looking, I think you need Level 1 or higher and a crew cab in the bighorn to get them. Here it is from the brochure...

— Rear in-floor bins with removable liners (Crew Cab only; included with L1 and H1 Equipment Packages

D'oh! Yeah. Reading how configuration matters...I should've added what I'm about to try to order.

2021 Laramie, Crew Cab, 6'4", 4x4, ecodiesel, Laramie Level 1, sport, 8.4" non-Nav, and then some external stuff.

Here's my complete config from the build site:

Just for future reference what you are referring to is called the RAM bins. All sorts of neat ways to utilize them, you'll definitely enjoy having them for random items that normally take up space either under seats or on the floor.

Thanks. Gotta get the nomenclature straight.

You can use them as coolers. On trips we put juice bags in there for the kids.

You can also take the bin out and can buy more for a quick change out.

The RamBins are great.

I am very dissapointed with RAM dropping them as standard on the Tradesman HeavyDuty.

There are alot more acronyms to learn. And some lead to a fight...like ORP and ORG...good times
