Do you know how they fixed it - was it adjusted or replaced? One of mine is warped now on my 2 month old truck with 1,000 miles.

‘21 1500 Ltd, Max Steel / Indigo Frost
So I finally remembered to find my service receipt. They replaced both of my rambox plastic lids. My drivers side one needs to be adjusted some as I couldn’t see this hole on the lid that I can now but the warping looks 100% better. I’ll get them to fix the alignment of that drivers side lid when I go back to the dealer the next time.
Added one picture of how my warping was on the drivers side before.

I don’t know what happened to the other thread regarding this issue. It seems to have been deleted.

As many others have experienced, my RamBox lids are warping up on the edges and misaligned with the body.

I took my truck to the dealership today and they weren’t excited about having to deal with it. They said they need to get authorization from FCA and order new boxes and then paint them. Made it sound like FCA would not accept the claim. I told them: okay, do what you need to do to get it fixed. I dropped it off with no estimate on if/when it will be fixed.

The state of my RamBox lids is unacceptable in any truck, much less in a $70k Limited with less than 4,000 miles.

Has anyone had any success in getting their RamBox lids replaced and/or aligned by the Dealership?
I had mine replaced under warranty after 6 months and they are warped again and being replaced a year later.
this should almost become a class action lawsuit. They are completely aware of the defect.

Ive had mine replaced twice now in a year and a half. Next step is a small claims lawsuit for some money back or a standard box installed if it happens again. They are well aware of the defect.

My passenger side is so warped it no longer seals. They are replacing them both. Still waiting on parts. I'm close to being out of warranty. I've lived with them for several years like this and am finally having them addressed. Figure it'll be temporary, but at least it's something to keep me going. A little warped doesn't bother me, but not sealing is really bad.

Geez.....waiting for my new and 1st Ram ever...i ordered the Ramboxes. After reading several pages of this thread, wondering if I made a mistake.I live in a very hot, sunny climate too...

Do they all warp and have issues?

Mine are pretty good and haven't changed in the past 33 months (Fort Worth, TX).

The lids on my previous truck were pretty bad. I was able to adjust them myself and they were nearly perfect from then until I traded it in. My new truck wasn't as bad, but I adjusted those too.

How exactly did you adjust them? we they warped or just misaligned? If they can be adjusted somehow to look close even though being warped I would like to know how. Mine is in the Shop now with both sides extremely warped after 3 years on my 19'. I want them back to new, but if the problem is just going to come back then WTF, and what's the use?
