Rambox/E-torque order tracking

Dealer finally called back and said the latest update is that mine should be shipped from the factory in 8-10 days. Suspect that is malarkey since MOTS clearly shows there is no predicting when a truck will ship after build commences. Some have sat for another, what, 6 weeks?

I see that Ramcares was checking out this thread a few mins ago... Lol
I messaged them earlier this morning when I saw them online and got this response and have yet to hear back..

Hi 1Raider,

Thank you for reaching out to our team with this inquiry. I am happy to look into your vehicle order further. I have contacted an internal resource to gain insight into your specific situation. I appreciate your patience, and I will let you know once I have more information to provide.

Well, after 4 months my truck has finally arrived at my local train yard this past Saturday. It is now Wednesday late afternoon and the truck (Offloaded at 9:46am Saturday) is still sitting at the train yard. The dealer claims he has no control over picking it up and although they claim to have placed a "hot ticket" on it, it will get here when the trucking company decides to bring it. Maybe tomorrow, maybe Friday. What a JOKE !!!
The train yard is about 15-20 minutes from the dealership.

Yea no way when we are still in D1..

My truck was built today and is in I status! This was a 5/9/18 order with 6/3/18 modification for the trailer tow mirror delete. D1 status on 6/21/18. Still a ways to go but am very excited. Hope everyone else’s orders start to move soon as well.

Don't you go buy one and leave me alone waiting! I hit 17 weeks tomorrow.
Another 08/21 D1 truck delivered. I'm perplexed because I thought this one was not in that group or was all "TBD" on the previous update. There were 7 08/21 D1's...now there are 8. Anybody notice this also?

I just did. I dont remember this user on the sheet.

I went D1 on 8/25... no movement yet, but then I’ve not waited as long as many of you have (I ordered 7/20). Hoping I see the truck by 10/2, but I’m thinking that isn’t realistic at this point.

They are 100% right. They can not control shipping. All we can do is Hot Tag a vehicle through our channels and then hope they put it on the next truck. Lawyers and Unions won't let us pick it up from the yard ourselves.
I understand that. I was venting because this is infuriating. FCA should make them deliver vehicles within a certain amount of time (48 - 72 hours seems reasonable) or have to pay a fine for each days delay (unless there is a valid reason such as a hurricane, blizzard, or some other issue they absolutely cannot control).

Feeling for you, @Boatjockey. My truck has been delivered, and we've got an appointment to pick it up tomorrow evening. I've been watching these thunderstorms roll through and hoping nothing happens while it's sitting out in the dealer lot (i.e. no more protected than it was at the rail yard).

Not seeing any movement of my truck on BOTS or MOTS but MoparGuy413 on Allpar tells me my truck is in E status today. Ordered 5/12 so I'm just happy to see any kind of change.

Glad some of you are seeing progress,im stuck in D1 still an ordered 5/22..
Someone at the plant should come and check out the forum sometime so they would see the frustration in a few of us that decided to buy the truck your building way before it came out yet we get put on the back burner so to speak..

It appears production isn't the only thing that has slowed.... Add shipping to that list. Just got off the phone with FCA to determine what the H91 code is on my truck. Turns out that it means "Shipping method unavailable". Guess there aren't any Montana-bound trains in the foreseeable future:mad:.
The weather must really suck around Montana, your hold has been removed

Looks like my truck got built around midnight!

An exciting time for ExcursionDiesel! Congrats

Equally frustrating for the others that ordered long before and continue to be stuck in limbo. I don't understand why Ram wouldn't get the older orders done first

My truck finally is on the train and en route with an estimated 09/12/2018 - 09/17/2018 delivery date.

Of course I have a trip planned on the 16th so I could end up waiting until the last week of September to take possession

Happy for @ExcursionDiesel but this is the first time I've honestly considered canceling my order and moving on. His config is almost identical to mine but ordered 8 weeks later.
I've got over 4 months now invested in this so not sure what I'll do. May take a break from the forum because I don't want to be the only negative voice.

Guys, it makes no sense. I'd gladly swap places and move those waiting ahead of me. I don't have to have my truck before Dec 1 to satisfy my employers requirements. I would have your dealer contact their regional rep to get things moving. My dealer may have done this because they locked in my trade value and are motivated because they are losing money the longer they wait. Just a guess. The squeeky wheel gets the oil.
