Thanks. Since you ordered the BUG we can assume no one will get these mounts standard anymore.
Interesting note: Before I got my Rebel I downloaded the 2019 Ram Owners Manual (on 5-22-18) and it discusses the bed divider/extender and shows pictures of the area in question. After I got the truck I downloaded the 2019 Ram Owners Manual (on 9-3-18) from the website referenced in the Essential Information Guide that came with the truck . Now there is no mention of the bed extender. It just says bed divider. The extender nomenclature and pictures have been removed from the manual. Has there been a change?????

Apparently. Discussed at length here:

I hope that's not an extra cost option, because I understood they were included.

They were listed but also described as a "late availability" item. We're looking for them in Dec and expect the BUG price to increase once they are shipping.
The 2018 model runs ~$250 so most are planning to upgrade as an accessory apart from the trunk purchase.

How about the drop down bumper step? Did your truck come with it or is it something that is installed at the dealer?
It was stated to be included (but "late availability") at the time of my order, so it's something my dealer and I have discussed. I think we'll negotiate it as a "zero charge accessory to be provided when available" when we close on the truck. I didn't negotiate hard at the time of order, so I think they'll be fair about it.

Thanks for the feedback.
Apparently my sales rep was unaware of the 'late availability.' Just said it was included. Meanwhile, he doesn't work there anymore. So, I have to deal with a new guy. I'm sure he won't let this be a deal breaker. I am concerned about the bed divider/extender though. They told me at the time of my order that they were the same as the one on my '14. We'll see.

My question is; Can I use my 2014 bed extender on my 2019 Ram? It looks like the "plugs" are right where the receiver hardware goes. It might be possible to take them off of my trade in vehicle and use them on the new one.
Thoughts?
I would say that the worst that could happen is they wont fit. And I wouldn't feel bad about doing the switch, either. FCA didn't bother telling us they weren't putting them on there, so why should you feel bad for not telling them that they are gone? Just my .02.

It is an aftermarket accessory. You can get the same device from AMP Research. I have it on my 2014 RAM 1500.
